Caldari Scout - It can see you, period. You can't sneak up on it because it can see you. You think you may be unseen when cloaked, but nope, it can still see you (passively). It is quick, nimble, and agile, and it sees all.
Gallente Scout - It can't be seen. This is the suit that lurks in the space between space. The suit that incites fear in those hacking objectives that they "think" is clear. Your body will hit the ground before you even hear the POING of its Creodron Shotgun.
Minmatar Scout - The suit that will hack the objective faster than you can blink. The real pain in the ass scout that will cancel your hack or hack the point before you can do anything about it. Like the Gallente, this scout is also feared as it may be lurking in the aether guarding that objective that you believe is clear.
Amarr Scout - The scout that looks the sexiest at prototype level........um.........wait..........that's it.
As you can see, every other scout has a strength, something that makes it feared on the battlefield per se. The Amarr Scout literally has NOTHING about it that is a strength or makes it feared. Yes it has the ability to tank and become Amarr Assault part dos, but that completely negates the fact of being a scout.
All the other scouts are faster, more agile, and can even outrun the Amarr Scout distance wise (yes I tested this) even with its stamina bonuses. The Amarr Scout has no role on the battlefield besides being a suit for we Amarrian RP'ers. I hate to accuse CCP of this, but the Amarr Scout truly and honestly feels like a suit that was thrown in the game to shut me and other Amarr loyalists up from complaining about the fact it wasn't in the game.
Anyone with half a mind could see on paper prior to 1.8 that the Amarr Scout was complete s***. We all brought this up in constructive threads, but they all went ignored and unanswered. I figured I would wait until 1.8 to actually EXPERIENCE the Amarr Scout and its use. The verdict is it is under-powered because it has not STRENGTH, there is absolutely nothing about the Amarr Scout that makes it shine besides its golden plates at ADV tier.
I mean hey, if you want an award for making a suit look like Nightwing from DC Comics, congratulations, you did a pretty fine job. As far as making a viable suit that is an equal to other scout suits and has a strength, I'm sorry CCP, but you missed the mark.
I could list the ways how we Amarr are better than you, but your lesser mind wouldn't comprehend it.

That's what I meant and tried to get across, when compared to the other scouts, it is under-powered, suit wise, it made Amarr Assault obsolete.

Skilling into Scouts even ruined my Dark Souls II play through so I've chosen to restart that.
I'm sorry for your loss....of SP.

That's not quite what you appeared to be saying.
Complete s*** in comparison to the other scouts.
I would hope people would realize I wouldn't compare a scout suit to a heavy suit, or an assault suit, etc etc.

Skilling into Scouts even ruined my Dark Souls II play through so I've chosen to restart that. I'm sorry for your loss....of SP. Yeah skilling scouts has genuinely made me miserable and consider either deleting True, or just moving on....or atleast petitioning CCP to delete any and all SP invested in scouts and cloak......just looking through the skills tree irks me and I would genuinely give all 3.5 million SP to just remove those god awful misspent skills. It physically hurts.
I'm not going to lie, I was surprised when you and Aero went scout in the morning, also I hate to admit it, but I was angered by it too.
No offense, we have our predetermined roles on the PIE forums and EVERYONE in PIE goes Amarr Scout...yeah I was ticked when it was clearly only supposed to be Maikyl and I.
I knew what you all were getting into though, I had been playing scout for quite some time so I knew what was going on...you all, well here's the rude awakening.

It can't see you either it's got just as blind sensors. The GalScout bonus just brings everyone down to their level.
But it's still a strength they have.

many forget assasination and some lone wolfing is part of the scout class.
never stray form your group......may get killed by wild scouts. All the other scouts can do that too, though. The CalScouts are the ones that aggravate me, though. Huge buffer and thanks to shields being such a large proportion, huge regen too.
Plus they see you coming from miles away

But how do you solve this problem? What would you that are familiar with the suit suggest? The originally proposed 5%/level to cloak recharge and 0.1 m/s speed buff (still the slowest scout, but faster than all assault suits--as it should be). That would be an interesting and unique bonus, that's not OP. You simply have shorter downtime on the cloak (which the Amarr scout is more dependent on than other racial scouts) but have no increase to the cloak's duration.
The thing is everyone whined on how the original bonus was too OP, so CCP changed it.

It can stack kincats and run to the city without ever stopping. I would guess that because the uplink is the equipment of their race. But I will admit that it has the least important role in pubs and doesnt really belong there...
It's just alarming that CCP didn't foresee this.
