I almost expected to see this initially, but was completely shocked when it didn't work. Cloak Fields I can safely assume is an active equipment used in battle. As the scanners can be negated by dampener modules, I feel that a flux grenade should:
FLUX THE CLOAK FIELD (it does not deplete the cloak to cooldown phase, but rather requires the cloak user to activate it again)
This does not apply to locus grenades because it is an impact blast, not emp.

Since flux is anti-equipment you would expect it to deactivate the cloak at minimum and possibly deplete its charge.
I can see not destroying it since they carry only one. |

This sounds reasonable, and this is coming from a scout... But the only thing I'm concerned about is that fluxes would be constantly spammed around areas. The cloak already comes with downsides like making a loud noise cloaking / decloaking, and that shimmer is at full level regardless if you're walking or sprinting (this might get fixed later on). Not to mention that your reticule turns red when your crosshairs are placed near cloaked enemies.

Actually this makes no sense.
If you can see someone is cloaked around you to know you need to toss a flux grenade you could just shoot them.
I have a better idea. Equipment similar to a proxy mine that sets a destabilization field and negates the cloak.
I would rather look bad and win, than look good and lose.

with how gnarly cloak seems to be right now, it should disable cloak and start the module's cooldown as well |
