So I did some calculations and found that the most an active scanner is able to scan is 15DB, this is including the Gallente Logistics bonus. Well today I was using my scout gk.0 with a complex profile dampener and a basic cloak, this allowed my scout's profile to become as low as 5 DB(without active cloak 14DB) , however I was still scanned by an active scanner.
I was wondering if the scan and profile values were bugged?
Edit:or maybe my calculations are wrong...
Now I'm not saying I'm a badass, but once I killed a guy in militia gear. We were both wearing it but still.

Well, I was scanned once uncloaked, then later in the match I was scanned while I was cloaked
Now I'm not saying I'm a badass, but once I killed a guy in militia gear. We were both wearing it but still.

How do you calculate then?

Deduct each % from whats left, but don't forget to calculate back the stacking penalty. Pretty certain that more than the cloak and 1 comp dampener is need to drop below 15db scanner.
But i'm not stacking anything and also I'm pretty sure the profile dampeners don't say anything about a stacking penalty...

Oh ok, but the issue still remains that I was scanned while my cloak was on and the lowest a scanner can go is 15 DB even with the gal logi bonus at lvl 5...
