Playtest: Forge Gun vs HAV
Staff: Director, Adjuster
Tester: Caldari Heavy with Forge Gun
Director- "Ok Caldari guy. We need you to fire all your shots at the wall to the left. Begin!"
Caldari Guy- "Wait! I thought I was supposed to be shooting an HAV? Why am I shooting at a wall?"
Director- "Don't worry about that. We've got all the numbers for the hit damage already calculated. Just fire at the wall."
Caldari Guy- "Oookay."
*First shot nothing happens. Second shot fires. Third shot nothing happens. Fourth shot fires. Fifth shot fires. Sixth shot nothing happens. Seventh shot fires*
Director- "Great. Thank you. Please move to Hangar Bay 1.8 for the next test."
Adjuster- "Conclusion?"
Director- "Forge Gun random firing mod is a go!"
HANGAR BAY 1.8
Playtest: HAV vs Forge Gun
Staff: Director, Adjuster
Testers: HAV Pilot in Rail Tank, Caldari Heavy with Forge Gun
Director- "Ok guys, as soon as the bell DINGS we need you to fire at each other. Caldari guy, we need you to stay still when firing."
Caldari Guy- "Wait a minute. What!?
*DING!! HAV fires, obliterating Caldari Guy*
Director- "Adjuster, we need to increase the Forge Gun charge time. That Caldari guy almost got a shot off on the HAV."
Adjuster- "Okey dokey!"
ROOM 1.8
Playtest: Scout Cloak vs Heavy
Staff: Director, Adjuster
Testers: Gallente Scout with shotgun, Minmatar Heavy with HMG
Director- "Ok guys when the bell DINGS, have at it!"
Minmatar Guy- "Shoot at who? There's no one here!"
*DING!! BLAM!! BLAM!! Gallente scout decloaked behind the Minmatar and shot twice, dropping the heavy*
Director- "Adjuster, we need to nerf the heavy's EHP. It took that scout two shots to drop that Minmatar guy."
Adjuster- "Okey Dokey!"

OMG! I can't believe someone else out there's has seen that comic. Anyone who's played 40K knows exactly what that means. Thanks for the trip down memory lane man. That was awesome! |

I just wanted to create a little humor around CCP's Internal Playtesting decisions. Some of them are quite outrageous. |
