Can we get an option to sell gear back to the market for the purpose of liquidating unwanted gear? The Faction Warfare rewards tend to give us things like suits we will never skill into and a function like that would be amazing. Because if I fight for minmitar and the other guy fights for amarr, then more than likely I'm going to end up with Amarr suits that I will never use. This would also help make Faction Warfare worth the friendly fire grief. A lot of games with currency systems have a re sell function. Obviously it should re sell at a lower value like 25-50% of the original isk value, but it drives me crazy having red items in my assets.
I know eventually there are plans for a player market, but with everything that entails I doubt we will see it this year. In the meantime, it would be great if an option was set up in the assets menu to sell items when we highlight them. I can't imagine that would take much time and it would be a large improvement. Just something I'd love to see in the future. |

I'm big on the interaction and a player market, but from an economic perspective as long as our gear is at a fixed price in unlimited quantities, I don't know how a sell back option could harm the game.
My question is, when we do have an open market who's going to buy all the miltia crap I get in fac war anyway?

Exactly. I'm never going to have an amarr/gallente proto suit skill unless I've capped every other skill. I'd rather it not clutter my assets. |

Yeah I want a player market too, but I see the re sell as a way to get rid of things that no one will want like the militia gear AND it will serve as a band aid as it will be much easier to implement then an economic overhaul to dust and PC production which will likely come hand and hand with a player market update. |
