For holding an onjective scouts are now better than heavies. This is my impression after playing 1.8 for about 5 games. Just remain cloaked until someone starts hacking and shoot them in the back of the head.

In my personal opinion NOSHIT! But seriously my ADV G-1 scout suit is invisible without cloak. Cloak is just a bonus a prefer REs.

Scouts are giving heavies a run for their money. I run an Amarr Sentinel and I been having trouble trying to keep track of these scouts running around cloaked and ****. I might have to start thinking about using some precision mods on my suit.

You can't stay cloaked forever, and when you uncloak I'll hear you.
Seriously though, unless your a scout yourself attack objectives as a group. Only truly skilled scouts can take on more than 2-3 people.

Nobody is running scanners because everyone is playing around with cloaking, scouts, new weapons, etc.

Besides, most newbie scouts don't damp and will be hosed when scanners rise in popularity once more and they need to learn to survive on 250 ehp.
