This game literally had my head spinning for the first hour or two of playing the new patch. All the new things were just overwhelming. (I was trying to play solo in ambush). I took a break, came back and decided to actually squad up for once and played Dom. It was the old gallente communications map and I went 51/1 using the LR for the first half, and an Assault SR after I died mid-way through to a particularly angry heavy that I had killed a few times. (prompting him to fly up to my dish).
The match before that I went 30-0 with the laser rifle. (on that horribly inbalanced map where one team spawns on top of that hill overlooking the objective (my team cough cough)).
So basically, teamwork and flexibility is the name of the game now guys. If its an out doors map use a RR, SR, or LR. If its close quarters use a heavy suit. Simple as that. Get a good squad and in either of those two situations do your best to support them in either case. Do that and this game becomes A LOT more fun.

Good to see a positive LR post.

My first four matches were against stacked teams of twelve protos.
Was a less-than-pleasing introduction to the new patch.
I really like it though. Can't solo heavies anymore, which is good. When my ScR is fixed (or rather my ak.0) I'll be happier than a pig in mud.

Yeah the first match I played we were rolled by a team decked out in proto. It was bad.

I found no greater pleasure then to laser beam cloaked scouts trying to flank around my position. It really was delightful (considering how much grief they caused me up until that point).
