I seem to see a lot of scouts boasting about how easy it is to 1v1 them, more than I do assaults.
Therefore why not buff mediums?
Assaults specifically; logistics have their own role, now more than ever.

That must be the majority of QQers. Mediums. It makes sense mediums aren't very preferable in this build. It just sucks that CCP are going to make heavies weak AGAIN

There's a pendulum for dropsuits. On one extreme are heavies and lights; on the other are only mediums.
So far as one swing happens, those farthest away lose.
Perhaps one day the pendulum will settle.
Until then, you'll lose, until you win again, before you lose.
You'd better hope this game lasts long enough (and the devs are nearly competent enough) for the pendulum to swing elsewhere,

In the end it could be more, less, or the warned -20%

its sad that CCP deemed the heavy's armor too OP when the new scouts can slap on those armor plates and have as much armor as a heavy. might as well play scout if things are going this way
and with the 20% nerf hammer on the way, is there a reason to play as heavies? heavies can't even 1vs1 properly in 1.8, its like the heavies are back to pre 1.7 days where the HMG was like a giant BB gun that tickles the enemy's armor.
now its more like our armor is made out of marshmellows

Assaults are a joke near a heavy or a scout.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Why not give assaults 20-25% more ehp?
As is now, the assaults are not only weak against heavies, but also against scouts. So It's completely counterproductive to nerf the heavies and destroying the heavy scout balance we have now again...
CCP CALM THE CRAP DOWN!
Wait a minute, step back, and see how things are going, before you nerf everything into oblivion AGAIN!

'cause I've been shooting at heavies all day and can barely scratch them... before I'm killed by his rediculously ranged and accurate HMG. That's assuming I can get anywhere due to no skill OP Scouts with OP Cloaks and Shotguns. |

I don't really want a large EHP buff.
I'd like a small (like 5%) damage buff, a small, maybe 10% on the outside HP buff, and a little more fitting.
What I ALSO want is my heavy to still be able to tank direct hits from railguns.

you do realize i said the HMG in pre 1.7?? back then the HMG was really crap. and right now im not talking about the HMG im talking about the 20% EHP nerf. a minmatar heavy is THE weakest heavy in the list and if this 20% nerf goes ahead, we wont even need the minmatar heavy anymore.
ranged & accurate HMG? you must have been hit by the assault variant. no way a normal HMG can hit "accurately" past 20m and have every single bullet land on you unless you were standing still which would be stupid.
not a single scratch on a heavy? you're either playing at a very long ass distance where your bullets aren't even doing full dmg or you just suck at shooting.
