The corporations that the Proto weapons are made by are for that race. Caldari: Ishukone, Wiyrkomi, Kaalakiota Gallente: Creo-Dron, Duvolle, ??? Minmatar: Boundless, Freedom, ??? Eve may be famous for its unfriendly nature, but that doesn't translate well to a F2P FPS on a console. The lore is there, if you care to read the description page. Everything about a weapon, equipment, dropsuit or vehicle is there, including the race that makes it. I know, because I actually HAVE read it. I don't need luck, I have ammo. I shouldn't have to, but yeah, I can use colours, figure out the designs, go online and figure out which corp goes with each race, write it all down and then keep a notebook with my PS3. I play on the PS3 as mentioned. It is my only source of lore. Of which there is... little to none. So far with the update, I can ditch the shotgun's racial bonus (my primary weapon well over a year) and play with the SMG and CR for suit bonus's... I think???
