I don't know what's with all the QQ cuz cloaks aren't op...u can see them good and I only died twice from a cloaked scout and he was the same person. The masgec is perfectly balanced....I do better with the regular cuz the hip fire is a nice factor added so its not OP. I haven't seen a lot of tanks so in the hotfix DONT take away malitia tanks just nerf em a bit. And heavies aren't to dominant cuz of cloaks. Seriously this patch is awesome! Dust finally feels like its complete. Event though there's a lot of bugs 1.8 was a huge success!

Are you ******* joking? This patch is a steaming pile of ****. Scanners don't scan the full radius, you can't get triage points when repping with a rep tool, laser's optimal seems to change every time you scope in, the basic frames of the new suits are so borked I can't even think about it without shaking in rage. CCP neglected to add Loyalty Store versions of any of the new suits or guns, and somehow accidentally gave the Republic Scout Mk.0 3 equipment slots. Damage mods are worthless, ScR now struggles to deal with the armor on a Minmatar assault, Scouts can now appear with no warning from radar and nail you instantly while being unkillable with as much armor as a sentinel suit. Passives are now revealed to be the utter **** that CCP turned them into when the Active Scanner was introduced. Oh, and the Amarr Scout skill is somehow a 4x skill instead of 8x. If I saw this within a minute of booting up the new patch, I struggle to see how CCP could have missed ALL of this over the past THREE MONTHS of working on this patch. There's really no excuse for this.

Don't forget that heavy caldari suits look waaaaaaay fatter than it should considering that they are a shield based race... was hoping for a more slim look to it.

Mate they didn't spend 3 months working on this. My bet is they rushed to get things in in the space of a few weeks.
I will continue to keep an eye on this game for now but its a ******* joke of a game. When the devs release half arsed half textured joke suits like the Caldari sentinel, how can any of you people play such crap?
I know, I too want this game to be as amazing as it was meant to be.... but it has been going slowly downhill since the moniker of "Chromosome" ended. Almost a full year of trash.
Now fanfest might bring lots of polish and bug fixes but I am certainly not expecting anything to be honest.

It kicks hard but it's not borked up. I've been using it and I like it. Most of my kills are short ranged and I play Min logi so it is just about perfect for me. It is going to take me a while to get used to the spool up but it isn't anything I can't handle. The price is good and it doesn't take much to get into the advanced.

Triage points are working just fine. As always, they only work when the person getting repaired was damaged by the enemy in the last minute or so. I got tons of them tonight. |
