I am proto uplinks and proto amarr logi.
I tossed a full set of basic links on a proto suit, deployed them, hit the supply depot for a free suit and committed suicide.
The spawn times all matched the basic listed specs. What am I missing here? |

Tested with more suits and more links, and I am still not seeing any way that the spawn time is reduced. |

Really wish they would have made this clear in the first place. Nearly 3 million SP down the drain cause yet again CCP can not state a simple ****ing fact.
I suppose I have now been doomed to spray uplinks down and go spin in circles in the red line. |

Nearly 3 million SP down the drain cause yet again CCP can not state a simple ****ing fact. I suppose I have now been doomed to spray uplinks down and go spin in circles in the red line. The same thing happens with the caldari logi when it comes to hives. I wasted quite a bit myself so don't fret. But the hacked Uplinks while the bonus runs are incredibly fast. Like 5seconds. So I just make sure I always have hacked uplinks available and pop those out. I especially play dom so uplinks are crucial. I have two fits, 1 is a hack/logi fit, and the other is normal. The hack fit dies quick but if I can survive long enough to get to a supply depot then I believe the bonuses stand so use those if you have to. I'm a squishy logi too, I run triple codebreakers on my hack fit, with a basic reactive plate, 2 complex side arm dmg mods and 2 complex shields mod. Run Hacked and r-9 uplinks with compact nanohive, proto nades, basic Mag-SMG and SMG as weapons. Second one is a slayerish fit with totally different weapons.
I am not mad that they did this, I am mad that they yet again intentionally leave out facts to screw us out of SP to keep this crap box of a grind machine going. Yes it is partly cause I am now pissed off but I would say that the dev blog on equipment was phrased to intentionally lead players in the wrong direction as to how everything would be applied.
I have slowly been worn down to the fact that these omissions are not mistakes but are meant to intentionally mislead the players with the goal of creating as much wasted SP as possible. God forbid someone gets the facts and is able to actually specialize to a fit they like.
Quote: So while the base numbers have been adjusted down, specialists will enjoy performance comparable to earlier iterations. The intent here is to reward specialization and create room for future modules that will enhance the performance of equipment, allowing specialists to further customize their fits in a way that allows them to excel at a specific function.
Would it have been so difficult to add "while wearing that suit" to the end of that to ensure some clarity? |
