I like the Minmatar heavy, the stamina recharge is great and most of the time I'm able to keep on moving through the battlefield.
But..... It's a hit and run suit, it doesn't do well in straight up fights. Even against every other suit, it could use a bit more hp in my opinion.
What about u guys that have tried out the Minmatar heavy?
After Uprisings release the forums were a bad place, I'll never forget how CCP screwed up so badly.

Ugly but it can haul its fat butt across the battlefield. I put 2 complex energizers on it and it can recover quick as long as it isn't dead.

I mentioned this in an earlier thread, that if you think of the suit not as a Sentinel, but as a HMG delivery system, its appeal suddenly becomes clear as day.

As for its looks, It's actually my favorite heavy design by far, because out of all of them it looks the most real. A rigid mechanical frame supporting thick but flexible body armor. Take a close look at it in the fitting window and you can see the tan frame is physically separated from the dark body suit underneath.
It looks like something real life military R&D could throw together right now. Minus, you know, the shield generator.
Not to mention it looks like it could physically rip a person in half with its bear hands
And actually can for that matter with a couple of myofibril stims |

I have enough stamina and the stamina regeneration is fast enough, but the kinetic catilyzer is logical to put on. I understand that the concept of the Minmatar heavy but if I wanted a hit and run suit I could've stuck with the Minmatar Assault and scout. All I think it needs is a bit of an increase in shields or armor. Maybe both? Not sure though, I'm no expert when it comes to balancing this stuff.

I'll tell you what I think about it once CCP decides whether or not to break it "a couple weeks" after it's released by lowering heavy suits eHP.
More specifically, right now it's beast I don't care what you say. Imagine it running around tanks in a circle with a Forge Gun.
But an HP nerf will kill it.

I think it looks ok. I don't understand why they would choose the current helmet design over THIS because it's 100% more awesome.
And the only thing I think the suit needs (much like every minmatar suit) is a very short recharge delay.

I LOVEEEE the look of the min heavy. He's bulky but not in the god awful chubby way of the Gal & Cal heavies which are gawd awful IMHO. Caldari looks like a chubby baby and Gallente looks like it has epic water retention. Matari looks like a repurpised undustrial suit.

Sentinels are getting a nerf in the next couple of week though.
and it looks like the Minmatar commando with the mass driver and CR are more popular than the sentinel right now.
