If a flux is an electronic disruption grenade. Shouldn't it at least start cloak cool down on impact?

I am 50/50 on that. The cloaks are easy to see, even at a distance unless the aren't moving.
Damage taken didn't uncloak and I want to say it should but at the same time the crosshairs tells us they are there. Like I said 50/50.

It should not only drop cloaks, but also prevent recloaking for a few seconds afterwards. We need something to flush out those pesky scouts.

I could see that. It shouldn't force their cloak cool down, since that's a long scale, but it should force them to be visible for several seconds.

Guy's I'm pretty sure it is disrupting cloaks. At least that's what my squadmate said.

I don't see why not.
The question is not if I can or can not, but who is going to stop me?

It'll makes sense really, an EMP Grenade should affect anything that's electronic either if it's a Suit or Equipment... |

Do you view the battleground with your eyes? No. Your whole suit, weapons etc. rely on electronics, even that chip in your brain. A flux grenade should completely shutdown any suits, weapons or vehicle untils it's systems reboot.
They should also shutdown the chip in your head that allows your conciousnes to be transferred to another clone, die whilst fluxed and your character is gone for good.
Can we get that put in the game? Get fluxed - you can't move, your weapons don't fire, the screen goes black - the next thing you see is a character creation screen
Or. We could just leave things as they are? |

Nope because other handheld equipment is still unaffected, last time I checked flux have no effect on my scanner or my reptool both are equipment as well.
How about paying attention to your surroundings? I know a complicated concept with everyone so focused on their tacnet and scanners |

The flux designed in the game aren't strong enough to cancel out consciousness transfers. If they were, immortal mercenaries wouldn't be so immortal and we wouldn't even have touched ground.
There's different levels to EMP damage. Some EMPs will completely wipe out all existing technology, while others will temporarily shut them down. Pretty sure anyway that there's some resistances that can be had for EMPs anyway.

You're still getting damaged tho...If you're not getting damaged by a flux then that's an issue. Last time I checked, getting damaged meant your cloak's field weakened or shut off completely.

Then it should disrupt all equipment.
All scanners can work till recharged.
Uplinks don't start spawning till 10 seconds after they deployed and same for hives.
Rep tools can't repair.
REs can't be blown up by user till 10 seconds go by.
Needles could still work I guess since your just jamming them into people.
