The scanners are awesome!! I actually prefer them- you can still move and it only last a couple of seconds so you're not stuck with it, even has a HUD

Not 360 scan, but the scan is still moveable that sid, the angle has been lowered and then scan itself takes 1-2 seconds making it impossible for the full 360 - hence the snapshot; its opens and closes rather then open (4 seconds) close kind of thing.

I LOVE the cool down meter for equipment now. Being able to see how much downtime I have without having to have the items actively equiped is really cool.

All this said, I now feel the only problem with scanning is the reduced angle its too much of a nerf. If the angle was kept with the new changes it would be fine. I think the scannerinas were able to do a piroet because of the time the scanner was allowed to be open. If it opened and closed in 1-2 seconds but reached the old angle scanning would be perfect.
