So here are my predictions for 1.8

Tanks will be even more spammed than they are now. Heavies will be spammed. There will be little point in using assault suits. There will be much QQ about the cloak. The CR/RR will still be the dominant rifles, especially the CR. The LR will be mediocre at best. Nobody will use damage mods apart from possibly some heavies, everyone will dual tank instead. The Gal scout will be the most popular, followed by the Cal, then the Min, and the Amarr scout will be least popular. There will be even fewer revives on field than there are now. Several nasty bugs will arrive and not be fixed for months. There you go. I wonder how many of these will turn otu to be correct. You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

That being said I'm speccing right back into my cal medium frame with an AR. I haven't changed this fit in 6 months even with the AV grenade nerfs. No point in bothering to be useful now.

Couldn't you use 1-2 turrets with EMP ammo, guaranteeing everyone in the area is hit by SOMETHING? Seems like a better way to boot them than simply hybrid. I refuse to gve honor to your 'god' so therefore i dual tank. Also i feel itchy. Anybody got a tube of Rust-It?

You'll still see them going between objectives faster than heavies, and doing a lot of the hard work. Don't try to tell me a Shotgun with better range and a CR with a bigger clipsize won't be useful. You've got to be bad at math and logic not to use your proto damage mod on your proto suit. At least one. Think about it, is that shield extender REALLY going to be worth more than 5% more damage? No. If you're not a Logi who wants to be defensive. Less revives? Yeah, not in a good squad or team. In pubs? Hopefully yes. Less troll medics is always nice. I laugh at your CR, HMG, SMG, LR, ScR, AR, ScP & IoP

You should expect people arising whose playstyle revolves around attacking tanks for easy WP (depending on WP to damage ratios) Would not be surprised if this causes tanks to decline because roving groups of AV now have a carrot to dive for. You missed one valid point [*] FOTM will be..? Personally, I think FOTM will be Gal Heavies with 2000EHP and Rail Rifles in LAVs with scanners Level 1 Forum Warrior!
