Seeing as it's only a few hours before the patch, I thought I'd post these so you can either stare in awe at my amazing, intelligent predictions or laugh at my horrible attempt to predict balance.
- Tanks will be even more spammed than they are now.
- Heavies will be spammed.
- There will be little point in using assault suits.
- There will be much QQ about the cloak.
- The CR/RR will still be the dominant rifles, especially the CR.
- The LR will be mediocre at best.
- Nobody will use damage mods apart from possibly some heavies, everyone will dual tank instead.
- The Gal scout will be the most popular, followed by the Cal, then the Min, and the Amarr scout will be least popular.
- There will be even fewer revives on field than there are now.
- Several nasty bugs will arrive and not be fixed for months.
There you go.
I wonder how many of these will turn otu to be correct.

Well, that was amusing.
Tanks are indeed even more invulnerable to infantry.
Heavies are spammed a bit, though admittedly not as much as I expected. That crown goes to the scout.
Assaults suits are indeed lol.
Cloaks are also indeed a QQ topic.
I think I was wrong about the RR, it seems okay now. It appears to be a solid option - CR is definitely dominant though.
LR is mediocre.
I'm seeing a lot of dual tanking.
Calscout seems more common to me than Galscout, actually, but there are a hell of a lot of scouts about. I haven't seen many Amarr ones though.
I've yet to receive a revive.
And we have the mother of all buggy messes in the form of 1.8.
I give myself a 9/10.
