It may be the best possibly CQC attack from a cloaked state.
Knife slashing coupled with melee attacks can sometimes be a better approach than repeatedly slashing.

Every fight I've lost to you (in melee combat) was when I was running Complex myofibril stimulants, and haven't even been able to land a hit on you. In the fights I've won, I was actually using Nova Knives. I just want you to think about that.
So there is this balance of knife damage, realizing what you've done to your prey, and knowing when a melee is practical. Then there is the issue of landing melee attacks. And there is also the seeming, I've found, expediency in throwing in a melee attack amongst knife slashes... I mean, when it comes to that.
All of that is why melee attacks are hard, and it is an even bigger beyotch slap than dying to knives. If I knife slash a heavy down to where I know he has 80 or less health- it is always faster to melee, and you also get the auto aim assist on it, than to slow ass slash. To me- a knife slash is so slow and so disconnected to the animation and sound FX... it's silly. Everything about knifing is way way too slow. it's all about waiting for the code to execute and hoping the net code favored your calculation.
But back to the hands down ***** slap of the game kill.. it's the melee. Second place are knives.= descending from proto to ADV. We all know basic knives would be allowed on flights by the TSA, so they don't even count. I think getting smacked the **** out of a proto suit by a minja is the newest perfect kill dust has to offer.
I know you went all in on melee vs knife. You were just too soon on that. And more than that- knife fights are slower than melee attacks. Also, there is no stamina involved in slashing, but there is in punching. it's about combos as of 1.8

They were appeasing whiners for a lot of it.
