Okay, so we all know about the blue up happening on MH. I have a feeling this will have a ripple effect on pubs.
My question is, what changes will we see in pubs? Will protostomping increase because of many corps will be pushed out of MH?
Will it cause people to get frustrated and demand that PVE be included next?

After the first week, heavies will be the only suit on the map. Scouts will still require too much skill, and all weapons other than the HMG have ludicrously high TTK.
But don't worry--there will be a hot fix in September
I don't think you follow me. Do you know about the what's happening on MH? You might as well call it the Voltron project...
What I'm thinking is this: since DNS alliance has nabbed up some elite corporations under its belt and is aiming to go after MH and quite possibly will own a significant percentage of it...that means most corporations that has been in PC will be forced out. Left to regroup until they can find a wedge in the monoploy that they can capitalize on. Thus leaving us with the possible inevitable end that those kicked out corporations will travel to pub matches while they decide what they are going to do. And these guys got money to burn, so I expect protostomping to increase.
Don't get me wrong...I accept the challenge. 1.8 seems to be a change in plenty of things.

To put it simply, N-F got tired of being smashed for a week in PC by FA. So, they decided to blue up with them so there would be no more competition. FA accepted the offer, as it was the best thing for them to do.
So, yes, there will be more protostomping, people will QQ like never before. You thought district locking was bad? Just wait.
Thanks for the clarification on what happened Patrick. I knew what had happened, I just didn't know why it did.

Molden Heath. It's the planet that planetary conquest happens on. An alliance has been dug up from the ashes and now holds elite corporations under its umbrella. Several, in fact. People are expecting them to control at least 80-90 percent, if not damn near all.

Of course. But let's continue be realistic and say that the majority of pub players aren't really ready for the possibility of corporations pushed out of PC to be frequenting the pubs. Of course, it might not exactly happen like that but I do believe we will see more PC corps messing around in pubs for a bit.
I just wonder how people will react if it does happen, especially since most are upset about protostomping...they are really going to be in a world of **** then.

The same people who have stomped since closed beta will continue to do so with new homies and more politics.

Interesting. The two people who posted remarks that seems to reject the OP's idea are both in DNS alliance.
Yes its a serious question. Are you inadvertently trying to call me stupid?
Surely some ripple effect will happen because of the blueing up. The universe was created by the big bang, but you're asking me if this is a serious thread. Interesting.
And let me say this before some guy assumes way too much. I don't expect it to happen on a large scale but I wouldn't be surprised if some of those corps being pushed out would head to pubs for a bit just to terrorize the masses.

I dislike someone who thinks they're smarter than someone else...
Actually its not the same people who stomped since closed beta. There are many folks who were in closed beta who don't play now, Einstein. So are you saying that only closed beta guys can obtain prototype suits and stomp? Interesting

i think the thing to remeber is this game allows for players to shape the face of the game and if the player base isnt intrested in balance im sure they will ruin the game i.e. leading the leader boards by running tanks in ambush to play all day with no real fight
I could be wrong but it seems that pretty much every elite corp is in that alliance or assisting them. Again, I could be wrong though.
