...because of the number of people that intend to run a Sentinel suit with a light weapon.
Please, PLEASE only allow Sentinels and generic Heavy frames to use Heavy weapons and a sidearm, CCP.
Otherwise I want a Minja rocking HMG + NK. |

the only nerf sentinel needs is the return of old turning speed IMO rotation speed for suits should be light>medium>heavy again IMO

Already stated on past a Dev blog that sentinels will only be able to use one heavy weapon and a sidearm. It's commandos that you will be seeing more of.

this is pretty much what academy is for experienced players? MLT sentinel and RR .. works for me ...what ... dont look at me like that!

If you made a similar table about current heavies, they too would have one heavy and one sidearm slot, no light slots. Yet of course, as we all know, they are capable of equipping and using light weapons to great effect. |

This pretty much echoes my thoughts. Sentinels offer significantly less utility than Commandos, considering they have no equipment slots and Commandos are capable of carrying two light weapons. The only people I personally know that routinely run a Sentinel or a generic heavy frame equipped with a light weapon are k/d padders or, in the truest definition of the term, scrubs. |

That doesn't really strike me as an appropriate analogy.
Generic heavy suits and Sentinels were designed with the specific intention of wielding "heavy weapons" that other dropsuit variants couldn't handle. The devs foresaw the likelihood of someone wishing to use light weapons but still be in a behemoth of a dropsuit, and hence Commando suits were born.
With that in mind I don't see how it's at all possible to use your analogy of scouts and SG/NK's. |

Sentinels should not be allowed to equip a light weapon. Heavy weapon and sidearm only restrictions should apply to their weapon slots. These little inconsistencies are so annoying about the game. And CCP's refusal to fix them even more so.
Heavy suits with light weapons is why we have Commandos I guess, right?
