It really isn't that much different than 1.7 , still the same boring lobby shooter.

Yup 1.8 ain't bringing much excitement, just like all the patches since uprisings release.

1.7 has been the worst build of dust so far, at least in terms of game play balance and probably on par in terms of performance to some of the older uprising builds.
I dunno, CCP might be able to turn this game around starting tomorrow... we will see. Personally I am more interested to see how the game plays and performs. I have not read anything substantial about bug fixes and stuff like that in the patch notes but there is hope.....
