Today I will be looking at the Real HP of the Minmatar Sentinel with all skills maxed, on a tanked suit (only plates and extenders). TL;DR at bottom Minmatar Tanked suit Base armor = 435 Armor bonus from upgrade skill, (435 x 25%) = 108.75 (109) Base shield = 390 Shield bonus from upgrade skill, (390 x 25%) = 97.5 (98)
2x complex plates @ 135hp ea. = 270 armor Armor bonus from Plating skill, (270 x 10%) = 27
3x complex extenders @ 66hp ea. = 198 shield Shield bonus from Extender skill, (198 x 10%) = 19.8 (20)
Total Hps Armor = 435 + 109 + 270 + 27 = 841 Shield = 390 + 98 + 198 + 20 = 706
Effective HP vs Different weapon types. Note: Resistances are calculated by dividing the base by ( 100 - resistance value). This is how it is done look it up.
Explosives (splash) -Armor 25% reduction from sentinel skill (841 / 0.75) = 1121.3 20% armor weakness to explosive (1121.3 / 1.2) = 934.4 (935) -Shield 25% reduction from sentinel skill (706 / 0.75) = 941.3 20% explosive weakness to shield (941 / 0.80) = 1176.6 (1178) Effective HP vs. Explosies = 2113hp
Hybrid - Railgun -Armor 10% armor weakness to hybrid (841 / 1.1) = 764.5 (765) -Shield 10% hybrid weakness to shield (706 / 0.90) = 784.4 (785) Effective HP vs Hybrid - Railgun = 1550
Hybrid - Plasma -Armor 10% reduction from skill bonus (841 / 0.9) = 943.3 10% hybrid weakness to armor (943.3 / 0.9) = 1038.2 (1039) -Shield 10% shield weakness to hybrid (706 / 1.1) = 641.8 (642) Effective HP vs. Hybrid - Plasma = 1681
Projectile -Armor 10% armor weakness to projectile (841 / 1.1) = 764.4 (765) -Shield 5% projectile weakness to shield (706 / 0.95) = 743.1 (744) Effective HP vs. Projectile = 1509
Laser -Armor 20% laser weakness to shield (841 / 0.80) = 1051.2 (1052) -Shield 15% reduction from skill bonus (706 / 0.85) = 830.5 20% shield weakness to laser (830.5 / 1.2) = 692.1 (693) Effective HP vs. Laser = 1745
TL;DR Effective Hps
Hybrid - Plasma = 1681 Hybrid - Railgun = 1550 Projectile = 1509 Laser = 1745 Explosive (splash) = 2113 Average of all values = 1719.6 (1720) Effective HP |

Interesting read. Thank you. People complain about EHP of Min Heavy, complaining about being the worst of the best suits in the game.

can you PLEASE add proficiancy if your going to calculate EHP, it makes a 2-400EHP difference
also no dropsuit in the game has explosive resistance. |

No Thats just another variable to screw things up I'm trying to test one thing, EHP vs Dmg types Not EHP vs Dmg types & Prof
There is no way to know whether or not your opponent is using dmg mods or has prof what you do know for sure is your resistances vs his
I'm not going to test that, you can if you want. |

it gives false perspective your way though.
proficiancy makes a HUGE difference in terms of damage output and damage tanking. and against anyone who isnt an acadamy noob your going to by up against a MINIMUM of 3 proficiany and 4-5 proficiancy most oftin.
for instance, only by calculating proficiancy can you really see what the best anti-Heavy HMG heavy is |

The other issue with this thread is this.
Is bricking honestly your only idea?
Why bricking?
Why not base EHP plus a calculation for each individual plate?
Like, say, Pokey Dravon's post.
Which is much more complete, and much less spam-y.
