Today I will be looking at the HP of the Amarr Sentinel with all skills maxed, on a tanked suit (only
plates and extenders).
TL;DR at bottom
Amarr Tanked Suit
Base armor = 600
Armor bonus from upgrades skill, (600 x 25%) = 150
Base Shield = 360
Shield bonus from upgrades skill, (360 x 25%) = 90
3x complex plates @ 135hp ea. = 405 armor
Armor bonus from plating skill, (405 x 10%) = 40.5 armor (41)
2x complex extenders @ 66hp ea. = 132 shield
Shield bonus from Extender skill, (132 x 10%) = 13.2 (14)
Total hps
Armor = 600 + 150 + 405 + 41 = 1196
Shield = 360 + 90 + 132 + 14 = 596
Effective HP vs. Differient weapon types.
Note: Resistances are calculates by dividing the base by ( 100 - resistance value). This is how it is done
look it up.
Explosives (splash)
-Armor
25% reduction from sentinal skill - 20% armor weakness to explosive = 5% bonus
(1196 / 0.95) = 1258.9 (1259)
-Sheild
25% reduction from sentinal skill + 20% explosive weakness to armor = 45% bonus
(596 / 0.55) = 1083.6 (1084)
Effective HP vs Explosives = 2343
Hybrid - Railgun
-Armor
10% armor weakness to hybrid = 10% weakness
(1196 / 1.1) = 1087.2 (1088)
Shield
10% Hybrid weakness to shiled + 10% bonus from skills = 20% bonus
(596 / 0.80) = 745
Effective HP vs Hybrid - Railgun = 1833
Hybrid - Plasma
-Armor
10% Hybrid weakness to armor = 10% bonus
(1196 / 0.90) = 1328.8 (1329)
-Shield
10% Shield weakness to hybrid = 10% weakness
(596 / 1.1) = 541.8 (542)
Effective HP vs. Hybrid - Plasma = 1871
Projectile
-Armor
15% bonus from skills - 10% armor weakness to projectile = 5% bonus
(1196 / 0.95) = 1258.9 (1259)
-Shield
5% Projectile weakness to shield = 5% bonus
(596 / 0.95) = 627.3 (628)
Effective HP vs. Projectile = 1887
Laser
-Armor
20% Laser weakness to armor = 20% bonus
(1196 / 0.80) = 1495
-Shield
20% Shield weakness to laser = 20% weakness
(596 / 1.2) = 496.6 (497)
Effective HP vs Laser = 1992
TL;DR
Effective Hps
Hybrid - Plasma = 1871
Hybrid - Railgun = 1833
Projectile = 1887
Laser = 1992
Explosive (splash)= 2342

also couldnt you of just put this in with the gallante thread?
(and what im assuming will be your eventual caldari and minmatar threads) |

Why not do the math (which even I know is wrong) for all 4 and make one thread? Better comparison. Please don't clog up the forums anymore. Reading every new post gets difficult when you make 4 discussion topics that are all, relatively, the same.
