Today I will be looking at the Real HP of the Gallente Sentinel With all skills maxed, on a tanked suit (only plates and extenders). TL;DR at bottom Gallente Tanked suit Base armor = 525 Armor bonus from upgrades skill, (525 x 25%) = 131.25 (132) Base Shield = 390 Shield bonus from upgrades skill, (390 x 25%) = 97.5 (98)
4x complex plates @ 135hp ea. = 540 armor Armor bonus from Plating skill, (540 x 10%) = 54 armor
1x complex extender @ 66hp = 66 shield Shield bonus from Extender skill, (66 x 10%) = 6.6 shield (7)
Total hps Armor = 132 + 525 + 540 + 54 = 1251 Shield = 98 + 390 + 66 + 7 = 561
Effective HP vs. Differient weapon types. Note: Resistances are calculates by dividing the base by ( 100 - resistance value). This is how it is done look it up.
Explosives (splash) -Armor 25% reduction from sentinal skill - 20% armor weakness to explosive = 5% bonus (1251 / 0.95) = 1316.8 (1317) -Sheild 25% reduction from sentinal skill + 20% explosive weakness to armor = 45% bonus (561 / 0.55) = 1020 Effective HP vs Explosives = 2337hp
Hybrid - RailGun -Armor 15% reduction from Skill Bonus - 10% armor weakness to hybrid = 5% bonus (1251 / 0.95) = 1316.8 (1317) -Shield 10% hybrid weakness to shield = 10% bonus (516 / 0.90) = 573.3 (574) Effective HP vs. Hybrid - Railgun = 1891hp
Hybrid - Plasma -Armor 10% Hybrid weakness to armor = 10% bonus (1251 / 0.9) = 1390 -Shield 10% Shield weakness to hybrid = 10% weakness (561 / 1.1) = 510 Effective HP vs. Hybrid - Plasma = 1900
Projectile -Armor 10% Armor weakness to projectile - 10% bonus from skills = 0% weakness , 0% bonus =1251 -Shield 5% Projectile weakness to shield = 5% bonus (561 / 0.95) = 590.5 (591) Effective HP vs. Projectile = 1842
Laser -Armor 20% Laser weakness to armor = 20% bonus (1251 / 0.80) = 1563.75 (1564) -Shield 20% Shield weakness to laser = 20% weakness (561 / 1.2) = 467.5 (468) Effective HP vs. Laser = 2032
TL;DR Effective Hps

Your forgetting the ugly penalty.
-3000ehp because of how ugly it is so I won't run it. And just average out hybrids. Rails and blasters go together

Hybrid - railgun and Hybrid - Blaster have differient resistance values vs shield and armor you cant bundle them together |

Your math is wrong.
at no point do you subtract the weapon efficiancy from the damage reduction. they are independant calculations and YES it matters becuase the mathmatical results are different depending on your order of operations. |

I'm gonna do a dance on the day I find and carve up my first fully EHP proto-stacked Gallente Heavy. One charged and one uncharged swipe is all it'll take using my IshNoKs on a Minja scout with proficiency 2 :) |

Its not hundreds buddy For example on the amarr sent, in regards to explosive resistances, the old and new math were only off by about 20ehp -_- its close |

The real way to do this would be to set up a function excel sheet and then just punch numbers in for each of the sentinels. Posting math like this only gives you one perspective, instead of the whole picture (i.e. ehp values for the other sentinels).
But really, who the **** would put a 66 shield extender on a gallente heavy...no one.

EHP values after proficiancy is taken into account
Assuming proficiancy 5
Explosive - 1516.3 Splash - 2021.74 Rail - 1705.48 Blaster - 1652.17 Projectile - 1612.31 Laser - 1766.3
just for referance that means that the gallantes EHP in all cases except against splash damage is still BELOW its actual HP of 1812HP
and this is why you need to factor proficiany into your math as without it the suit looks like it gets monsterous EHP when the reality is that it has less EHP then its actual HP numbers. (all dropsuits do)
(and i tottaly used excel for all of this because screw doing it individually) |

i diddnt make a proper spreadsheet, i just used excel to map out a makeshift formula to plug numbers into
excel is great for visualising and mapping a formula since you can label each individual piece as you go and then after you work out the math behind it you can just condence it into a chart via "=b24" commands |
