ISK's real value isn't what's shown right now - but what's to come.
Hopefully I don't burn too many bridges trying to get rich so I have people to enjoy the ISK with when the time comes. |

That's not even sarcasm I genuinely have no idea what is on the 'road map' that is worth ISK and is more than new suits/vehicles/guns? watch Youtube 2009 dust demo videos.
It'll depress you and make you hate the game more.

If they sold all the clones in MH it would be worth 9 bill. Learn some math. Also, if you think that much cash is going directly to the players you are high. The players, the soldiers, are the ones who matter, not the cheerleaders, not the forum warriors, not the office staff. The soldiers have screwed themselves by choosing to serve a businessman. If they were interested in self enrichment, they would be fighting against each other and making people pay for the privilege. Soldiers? Where? Where are there soldiers in a mercenary game?? Seems like you are still stuck in Call of Duty. Get out of here scrub. Lol |

They had ammo types, attachable to weapons, player controlled MCC's, much much larger maps, and a game mode that actually had progressions *AKA hack point A, opens point B, which needs to be taken to move onward to point C*
They had better lighting/graphics, and did you see the inside of those buildings? Looked like a way better game then what we're playing. Lol
But, yea, those MCC's are suppose to cost a ton, enough that it should take a corp. |

Would you prefer combatant? Either way, you laid down your arms. You are not an Amarr. Go and get your self some minmatar gear you filthy pig. Calling me a scrub when you won't even fight, because you are too friendly with AE is a joke. ERA got smashed for a day straight, and like all bitches, you guys couldn't take it. So rather than fight, and be men, you made deals and avoided combat. Good for you cowardly jim. You are property, a slave to Kain. Now go serve your master, I will be free, rich, and glad to not be a coward. "I said things, thus must be true."
You're online too much. And if you're hearing that from me then there's something wrong with you.
A scrub is someone who cries because he's unable to make change himself. Guess what you're doing? :D |

This blue doughnut has literally JUST formed and everyone is already rubbing their nipples on the monitor in defiance vowing to take down their almighty oppressors. It doesn't work like that. FEC showed that it doesn't work like that, Tso's rebellion showed it doesn't work like that.
Let's bring back some good old espionage perhaps? No amount of rallied troops or crazed Hispanic armies can topple the giant that now reigns. It will require intelligence and patience, not war room threads and mass armies. If that was what ruled in Dust then you'd all bend the knee to ContraBanJoe.
And if you're butt-hurt about them making so much ISK, just remember the only thing ISK is good for in the end is suits. I only have 150,000,000 but compared to people with billions in their wallet I am no more disadvantaged than them. Once you hit a certain point ISK just isn't a factor.
Calm down. Posting on the forums changes nothing.
INB4 "yer but bain ur not relevant either u scrub" The FEC sucked because the leadership was horrid, the strategy was horrid, the information leaks were horrid, we paid people who would end up butt sex us, we didn't have no actual goal other than attack, the new Field Commanders weren't trained to actually stand a chance, and after a week it was cut down to "being a community event." I was arguing for the whole day in another thread that "Tso's Rebellion" wasn't a "rebellion" it was most of the hard hitting, and newer, corps that joined that wanted to attack RA with their new comrades. Don't tell people not to fight...Let 'em do what they want. Why does it matter so much to you? I'm not telling people not to fight I'm telling them to stop being idiots about it. War room posts and mass armies don't win. It matters to me because I want the big blue doughnuts to stop but that will never happen so long as the opposing forces are morons. Well it would just be arguing the simple stuff here but... Mass armies wouldn't assist in stopping them? I mean, the way I'm reading that whole post is that you'd rather people "put up or shut up," but I'm still not sure if that's what you mean. But regardless of all that...yesterday wasn't nothing compared to the crap that went on in FEC days. WAY more posts. I'm really under the belief that the players who/can do something are actually in-gaming doing something. STB already stated they were building back up. FEC succeed on Sha Khans back and wallet, if he had not been there FEC would of never had even a lift off.
There is no such person anymore. QG would be possible, but i'm sure he's got his own plate to take care of.
This Donut is probably the strongest one to date, and the community is at it's weakest. |

I love how you try to separate yourselves from the community, like you're better than us all. Newsflash, sunshine. Community is a sum, not a division. But you keep sitting in your ivory tower, smoking your pipe. Be glad that you have deep pockets to pay those doing violence on your behalf. Caligula would be proud. And oddly, I can see your fate reflected in his. Enjoy your spoils. 2 things:
1) If you feel I'm speaking down to you then you probably have physiological issues I want no part of.
2) Caligula went down forever in history as one of the greatest conquerers and leaders to the known world. I consider it an incredible compliment to be compared to such a man who made such an impact in peoples lives. His greatest failure will always be his paranoia preventing a proper lineage. |

Ivar Iosef wrote:From Wikipedia: "There are few surviving sources on Caligula's reign, although he is described as a noble and moderate ruler during the first six months of his rule. After this, the sources focus upon his cruelty, sadism, extravagance, and intense sexual perversity, presenting him as an insane tyrant. While the reliability of these sources has increasingly been called into question, it is known that during his brief reign, Caligula worked to increase the unconstrained personal power of the emperor (as opposed to countervailing powers within the principate). He directed much of his attention to ambitious construction projects and notoriously luxurious dwellings for himself. However, he initiated the construction of two new aqueducts in Rome: the Aqua Claudia and the Anio Novus. During his reign, the Empire annexed the Kingdom of Mauretania and made it into a province. In early 41 AD, Caligula became the first Roman emperor to be assassinated, the result of a conspiracy involving officers of the Praetorian Guard, as well as members of the Roman Senate and of the imperial court. The conspirators' attempt to use the opportunity to restore the Roman Republic was thwarted: on the same day the Praetorian Guard declared Caligula's uncle Claudius emperor in his place." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CaligulaI'm sorry...what was that about being one of the "greatest conquorers and leaders"??? You need to brush up on history Sota You actually may want to read up on him, that's a very shallow interruption of his reign.
You forgot to add he put his people into starvation by using all the money Rome earned on excessive gifts and events(For a while anyways), stirred up some serious religious trouble, and attempted to assassinate, replace, and be done with most of the senate and ruling body of Rome.
All the while expanding west, beginning the occupation of Britannia, giving bonuses by wage to roman people increasing livelihood, secured all of romans boarders and prevented any major wars, his governmental policies were both productive and helpful to the people, and pardoned the many strange crimes Emperor Tiberious put on people.
He was insane, selfish, and crude. But he got **** done. Except prepare Rome for future leaders. |

Hey, Sota, you may be brilliant at Dust, but you know little of Roman history. Caligula wasn't a great conqueror (Mauretania, his only conquest, was hardly of any economic or strategic value) or leader. He was, however, known for his ego and was assassinated by his own army -- and therein may be a lesson for you. After all, history has a way of repeating itself. Take care....Leadfoot Lol, I love history. Best subject to study. If I wasn't trying to actually make money, it would be my major. But I can say I barely know what Caligua did beyond what i read in a book.
Surprisingly I remembered quiet a bit - but the part of his involvement with religion I hardly remember. |

You and me both, brother....except I made the decision to move away from history more than two decades ago... That...and my twich muscles ain't what they used to be. Wasn't Caligula also one of the last educated Emperors? I seem to remember the guy coming after him locking up his children. Lol |
