I'm just gonna go ahead and say this:
Americans make better Italian cheese than Italians.
I mean why else is the EU trademarking a cheese.
If the Italians were so good at making it, no one would buy the American made stuff.
Unless it's too protect their failing cheese making industry.
Troll at me bro!
If you don't understand politics or pulling triggers, I have no use for you.

Troll at me bro! Wrong, it's because italian mozzarella is too expansive in US because of your ****** import policies. And, well, I think that something like 1/8 of americans has italian origins so, we're all a big family! Now, let me see your mustache...
OUR import policies? Lulz. Oh bud, it's actually a combination of the American dairy industry being able to steamroll through the blackball 'quality' policies the EU has made (which they can't even hit themselves) coupled with our dairy coops writing together on a coalition level to move American products off shore so we don't flood and stifle our own market, as well as product a higher grade product at a far lower cost of production. The EU nearly has a full blockade of American dairy in Europe, as to support European dairy.
All concede that yes, nearly 12% of Americans can claim Italian decent, but that doesn't hold a candle to the 20% Germans or 19% Irish.
Bad Euro policy is bad.

And yes, you're right. EU imposed us some "rules" . How much cheese we can produce, how we're supposed to produce it etc. For example, our exceeding wheat is going to be wasted, because EU prefers to import wheat from abroad. Same goes for anything else: from pizza to pasta, from perfumes to luxury products. A good example of EU imposing absurd things: we cannot produce more wine than France. US economic policy is nothing more than a well-hidden protectionism and autarchy
To be fair, once the quota system disappears next year, its highly unlikely there will be any milk producers in southern Europe, because its a pain to have cows there, northern Europe though will add a buttload of cows, so it might...might... balance out.
Its really because agricultural production has reached a non-sustainble (economically) level back in the 80s and its governmental systems have been playing 'protector' ever since.
Now American economical policy...is not protectionism. Its growth-capitalistic. If you don't expand, you die to those who do. If your market/industry is stable, you either cut back production (lulz) to remain stable or you find new markets. Hence why we keep trying to sell you our salty cheeses you like, but Papa EU says no. sad face.
Also, with the new Farm Bill (America's agricultural policy 'thing') the hand-holding autocratic system you might have seen is now gone. Catastrophic loss protection only. We've moved into capitalism full bore now.
Expect us to knock on the door more often now
I like you whitedevil, you're no where near as r-tarded as the forums make us all sound.
