 The duvolle AR is gonna be worst than the standard, i'm not even going to skill into proficiency since no one is going to use shields. I'm going to be really disappointed if i don't see a buff after 1.8

 Edit: Also, everyone will use shields. Extenders don't have to compete with damage mods anymore for peoples high slots.

 Post 1.8 the standard AR will also be worse. Every rifle, smg, and psitol is taking a hit.

 1.8 Duvolle Damage: 33
 
 Current CR Damage: 32
 1.8 Boundless Damage: 29.7
 
 Current RR Damage: 55
 1.8 Kaalakiota: 51.7
 
 Current ScR Damage: 72
 1.8 Viziam Damage: 71.5
 
 By my understanding CCP usually balances by use, so the RR and CR are getting the hardest nerf because they are used the most. Meanwhile the ScR is getting a relatively light nerf because it is used the least of all of the rifles.

 Note that It's a nerf across the board. The Std AR Will be nerfed as well xD

 AR should have been left untoched. ttk with it in its curretn state is longenough as it is.

 If they do this this would explain why they have really no clue about balancing....

 Nope no changes to inter rifle balance in general. If at all the SCR/ASCR will be more useful (because smaller nerfbat).
 
 Ar gets degraded to Sidearm level, Cr is still very powerful especially in 1 vs 1 encounters, RR still delivers incredible good Dps over the longest Range (but ASCR gets closer in overall performance but still has the less appealing damage profile)

 I'm not so sure about the AScR being the go to assault variant. It still uses more resources than the other assault variants by a pretty wide margin. I would say the ACR will be the top dog assault variant rifle, followed closely be AR/ASCR, the ARR is in last.
 
 The overall performance of the AScR is better than the other ones, but only by a little bit, and I don't think the extra fitting costs are worth the extra performance.

 meh id have rather had the lesser ar nerf.. std going down to 31 instead of 30..still would take 2 full mlt ar clips to kill a proto scrub though...unspecced....

 They are only doing that to increase time to kill. This isn't CoD. There should be higher TTK than 2 sec for a full proto caldari who is stacking extenders
