I am trying to get an idea about what kind of dropsuit i would like to spec in. Im currently looking into the Commado and heavy classclass. I just want to know whcih speficic weapons are PROJECTILE and which are BLASTER.
Also, if i choose a heavy class that have a resistance buff agaisnt either projectile or blaster, does that same resistance apply when Vehicles are shooting at me? |

projectile= a WInmatar gun with a high ROF and no splash. ex. the MD.
blaster= a Gallente gun that shoots plasma. ex. The Plasma Rifle.

Mass Driver is explosive, not projectile. Projectile is things like HMG, Combat Rifle, and SMG.

Blaster: Assault rifle, Shotgun, ion pistols (soon), plasma cannons, blaster turrets

Plasma weaponry is blaster. Traditional gunfire is projectile.
Minmatar weapons are projectile, whereas Gallente weapons are blaster.
An easy way to check is to look at which weapons are on the Loyalty Stores.

Direct hits still count as explosives.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

all gallente weapons are hybrids (blaster)
Technically railguns, forges, and rail rifles/sniper rifles are gallente too because they're hybrids.
Caldari use missiles
Amarr use lasers.

Both Gallente and Caldari weapons are hybrid but Gallente ones are classed as blasters (short range) while Caldari ones are rails (long range).
