I understand that there are younger people playing this game about space murder, but why all the censoring?
I don't understand it at all.
The word re-tard? Sorry about the hyphen, but otherwise it looks like this ******.
Out of all the words to censor this one is the worst.
Imbecile, idiot, dummy, stupid, simpleton, etc... were all at some point used to describe the handicapped (and in some cases used as professional classifications). Most wound up being used as insults. No one cares now, so we don't censor those words. So I say we just get all progressive and realize that it's pointless to censor language and get rid of the pesky asterisks.
Or make it something you can change under settings and just leave the default set to virgin mode.

Okay so I came to a realization.
It was after reading about the chaos that is the non-english language boards.
I still feel that the censoring is completely wrong....
but it does disarm the wily little ***** that only know how to speak in profanity.
The last thing I want is for this community to be anything like CODs'.
Free speech is always more important though. Class and good taste are discretionary. (Which I have in spades. lol)
