DUST Search - The issue that really isn't tanks

yep, I only pull out my tanks to kill other tanks, but between waves of tank kills, I kill red dots as well, I tend to do it more if i see they have proto suits, but meh.

long story short even the best of us pure AV tankers can't avoid killing red berries when you are behind the wheels of a tank.

also....if I ever steal a blaster tank I tend to drive that thing for everything that it's worth farming everyone.....it's the unwritten rule of dust, if you taketh a tank from thy red berry, you must troll with thy red berries tank.

You two can spout your sanctimonious crap however much you want, claim you are taking some high road you have decided should be some kind of determining principle amongst whatever community you are a part of.

I don't care what I shoot. I don't say "oh poor little scout off to hack A.....well let's let him be on his merry way."

I kill stuff. I'll do it on foot in a Commando Ak.0 if Aero asks me to. Frankly I prefer to hunt tanks more than infantry men but hell if anyone is trying to get at my squad, capture or defend a point..... I'll kill them.

I don't do it to pad KDR, mine is not great tbh, I don't do it for ISK, I certainly don't do it to ruin anyone's game.

I just do it because prior to 1.7 I was kind of good at it, I enjoyed/enjoy the mechanics, and few people in my corp do it.

I just do it because prior to 1.7 I was kind of good at it, I enjoyed/enjoy the mechanics, and few people in my corp do it. that's fine, I don't think anyone should follow my example or anything like that and I don't really think anyone that tanks is doing anything wrong, if it works in the game I have no problem with anyone abusing mechanics ccp has put in, but I will use every mechanic available as well. you drive tanks to kill people, I drive tanks to kill tanks. for me killing red dots with tanks is nothing more then kicking a kid in a wheel chair, or making fun of handicap people, it's just not fair, I understand for some this enjoyable, it's exactly why some people choose to do this stuff in real life, it makes them feel big. for me I prefer to get my kills with similarly typed weapons as much as possible, but like you I don't fuss too much on how i get my kills so long as the things are dead, but for me vehicles just get the big red bullseye for me.
