I'm expressing my opinion on your motivational speech from a neutral standpoint(I'm intaki, with my own indipendent agenda of the Gallente), and I found it lackluster and not really performing its job as you intended it to be based on the things I pointed out.

Motivational speeches are something that should, well, motivate, which would require a great deal of effort and care into constructing it. Yours looks like you half-arsed it in five minutes and didn't bother to check for spelling errors either. And besides, what kind of a Caldari would listen to you when you are in a Gallente-aligned corporation?

The point of my reply was to point out how his motivational speech was lacking in many points, as was its writer's own credibility. His lack of effort in writing his post correctly was one of those points, as well written posts usually mean that you have taken care into the message it is conveying. I repeat my previous statement again, that baniel's post looks like he half-arsed it in five minutes without giving it much deeper thought at all. For clarification, I'll give you my thought process when I read that post:



To summarize, from my first impression, baniel bj's post failed to do its task because:

A. Nobody has ever heard of baniel, and thus he has more to proof that he actually is loyal to the Caldari
B. His post indicates that he didn't give it much thought, implying that he didn't care much at all for the message his post was trying to convey
C. The actual content of his motivational speech wasn't that different from any other
D. He's fighting for the Gallente and trying to appeal to Caldari
E. Pointing these out was replied with uncalled for hostility

As for your implications that I am a grammar police, I don't really care much how you type your words if you get your message across during normal communications. However, when you are trying to appeal to an authority or gain credibility among mercenaries, not taking care into writing your words properly seriously hurts your credibility and makes you look like an amateur.
