Disclaimer: Normally I keep to myself and stay out of political stuff like this. But when it comes to expressing opinion, then it might as well be said instead of being muted. Also no crying or whining here
Planetary Conquest, a game mode put to professional levels of game play utilizing the up-most in teamwork, planning, and executing the plans given in order to claim a district in hopes of taking over the galaxy. Catch was you were not safe at any moment in time. Someone could attack you when you were attacking someone else. This meant you needed more people or an alliance to help out. That was the main intent of the game mode.
But all it took was one person to exploit the glitches found inside the game mode i.e. district locking and ISK farming. Once that started happening everyone else who seen this wanted in but needed outside help to get to. This lead to a bunch of problems, problems that people call "super powers". The one I can recall quickly was when EoN. came to power and had people teaming up with them effectively taking over MH. Hell there was an alliance before EoN. doing the same thing. Eventually there will be people fed up with this leading to all out wars i.e. FEC vs. EoN. Keep in mind that FEC as well as many others promise to knock down the big power and will make sure it will not happen again.
I SMELL BULLS*IT. To anyone believing that lie should know that when you knock down a big power and bigger one comes along and so on and so forth. Example, who is in power now? AE, NS, and etc.. Recall that AE was with the FEC during that war giving empty promises like the other big powers did.
It gets worse. When a new big power comes in everyone rushes to side with that new power. One they get in they feel entitle to something like they were supposed to have something i.e. ISK and a numerous districts. Example Nyain San teaming up with only the biggest power in Planetary Conquest (not 100% sure on this). They did for a time being teamed up with EoN. only to leave because EoN. was dying. Next they joined up with AE to secure their district (again not sure). Not only that but if they win one or buy one they have the timers set at times no one else can attack unless they are in the same area they live in (another exploit).
TL:DR? To me Planetary Conquest lost it's true roots. Why? Here is a list of things why:
- I understand joining up with bigger power means no one will dare mess with you. To me that pretty much tells me that I "beat the game". When that happens it get boring with nothing to do. Sure that the power is having fun but there are people within that power growing tired of it. With no competition means no challenge what-so-ever, no challenge the game gets boring
- Entitlement never existed in Planetary Conquest. Example would be (and this is strange to pull this up) PFC and management of it. No crying here nor anger again opinion and perspective. To vote for people to be in or out of PFC soulds like entitlement from the voters. Think about it. Would you want to vote some corp who is powerful into PFC? Some would say yes for the challenge some would say no because they do not want to lose what they were entitled to and killing off their ISK supply
- ISK farming and district locking. Need I say more?
- Paying people to give you protection in Planetary Conquest knowing good well you do not have the man power to secure that district anyways. Doing this only gives a false sense of hope i.e people playing to keep their districts in PFC.
- Cannot believe this made the list but showing off your ego........ on the internet.... on the forums...... in the war room..... So much for staying classy and being a good sport. Nor you can say anything without anyone taking it the wrong way
Take it as you want. Your opinion, your speech, your voice, screw everyone else who tells you that you cannot do the following. Also I am pretty sure that Nyain San can take care of themselves without any help at this point

A lot of people seem to be talking sh*t about DNS but no one seems to be able to do anything about it, or even try to take them down i assume they will control 100% of Molden heath by the end of the month and be virtually unopposed.
At the end of the day i'm rich so i don't care that much for the troubles of MH. I'm on the side who funds my proto gear. lol, before being kicked for being a little *****, I told them any coalition trying to attack would just result in more districts being gained than lost. The death of EoN was from people not caring about DUST anymore and moving on to other games, never to return. The end of DNS's reign will be the same. The people that like ISK farming to continue pub-stomping in full proto gear and not caring about the ISK lost per match will keep playing. The people that liked the competitive aspect will slowly stop logging on to the point when there won't be enough for a full 16 of one corp. All they're doing is bleeding off the competition, not through isk attrition or through superior skill, but by way of stagnation.
100% agree with everything.
