I'm already getting a little fed up at the tiny hitbox scouts dodging my combat rifle and scrambler fire. I'm really thinking that the weapons with the high RoF like most of the assault variants, and the smgs, are better at just connecting with the strafers more and slowing them down, because of the sloth effect. What do you all think?
If you are going up against scout squads, as far as rifles go, is higher RoF better? |

Sometimes I feel like a weapon simply being aimed in my general direction kills my scout.

Anything with high rof crushes scouts because the pure amount of bullets you can put down range and AA.
Try to kill a strafing scout with a precision weapon up close like a PlC, forge, shotgun or sniper...talk about hard. |

For some reason I thought the shotgun was meant for close quarters...I can never get mine to fire more than 5m. |

The shotgun and plasma canon are CQC weapons...
