It will be everything I hoped for...except for the stupid triangle face with a police hat. Anyway...I won't be a minmatar scout because I don't like looking like a evil troll thingy, so I'm gonna go with the metal gear solid style minimap and sneaking suit caldari scout. What would the disadvantages be? I usually run a Gallente scout, but I skilled up into the minmatar scout suit. It fits my playstyle, but I don't have prototype knives 
EDIT: also should I cross-skill into the Gallente heavy?

The biggest disadvantage of the suit is it only has 2 lows. That's about it really. It's a pretty good suit on paper from what I can tell.

Going all in on anything without test driving it for a bit is asking for disappointment. Respecs generate a lot of disappointment as people jump into something without trying it first.

I'm going all in on my cal scout. I don't need to test it. I know they way I play and the way I plan to use it the cal scout is the best option for me. Plus I don't like the other scouts so it's an easy choice for me.

I'd run basic then advance, and if your still happy with it then go all into it. Should only take maybe an hour to play with before you know. |

Essentially has the lowest ehp potential (which isn't a problem)
Easiest scout to detect (and best detector), which is partly due to limited low slots which will tie up fittings due to the heavy abundance of low slot utility.
Its hard counter is the gal scout, works great against the min/ama scout. Medium frames can already be picked up by all scouts.
Gal vs Cal (in a complete scanning build to show why gals scouts counter it)
Gal scout
2 precision mods
2 damps
2 range amp
24 Precision, 14 profile, 75ish scan radius (going off of memory on the scan radius)
Cal Scout
4 Precision mods
1 complex damps
1 basic damp
15 Precision, 21 Profile, 37 Scan Radius
Edit:
Most gal scouts won't run 2 range extenders and two damps (one plus cloak is enough), but would most likely throw on an armor plate, and most cals won't have 4 precision mods, but this is just to demonstrate the scanning stats / mods in action.

I'd expect 1 complex shield and 2 basic armor plates. I will just fully shield tank the Caldari, run an enhanced shield regulator, and put on a CPU upgrade if I need it.
