Does that mean that someone's eyes will explode, and we get to go through a portal to hell?

Post is broken into two (2) sections: for Sergamon (section 1), in reply to Denak (section 2)
SECTION 1:
Sergamon Draco wrote:Ok sorry if i touch your nerve about this, you should try taking care about job and taking care of 2 kids in real life and then try to find time read everything in evelopedia and other places. I never said i am law enforcer/intelligent officer/sisters of eve agent, i just asked you a simple question. Ok i admitt my english grammar could be much better.
You don't need to read all of EVElopedia in order to know most of the stuff he just said. The only plausible part needing such lengthy reading would be the CCP actors part (although a simple search for a single article rather than a full read would make more sense for that)
Also, you may not have said that you are a law enforcer or SoE agent, but:
Sergamon Draco wrote:And denak how do you know that,i am not law enforcer/intelligent officer/sisters of eve agent etc etc
You VERY HEAVILY implied it.
<==={[=== + === + === + * * * + === + === + ===]}===> (Stylish section breaks FTW!)
SECTION 2:
Denak Kalamari wrote:Hawk-eye, I'd say you've nailed your character pretty well. The relaxed attitude your character portrays is done good, and the writing execution is mostly correct aside the occasional slip-up. However, bringing an HMG to a meeting, even a non-functioning one, makes me scratch my head. Those things are incredibly heavy, and impossible to carry without the specialized exoskeleton of a heavy dropsuit, and the whole concept of bringing a weapon for a meeting for any reason is silly to me.
Thanks for that, I feel slightly better about myself. (^v^)
With regards to the HMG in the briefing room, I seriously am looking back at that with the words "what the hell was I thinking" resonating through my noggin'. Could have been me doing a pseudo-metagame when I read about the guns several others had brought.
I'll try to avoid such... Blunders... In future.

Although since the update, "Fat Suit" tends to refer to the Gallente heavies, due to how the plates of armour actually look like folds of blubber.

It has similar AHP to medium models, just a really big shield. Would have made more sense to have a massive Tesla Coils, lightning rods, and other mad scientist electrical objects. I think I can answer that question after observing the desing of the suit, we all know that the caldari favor strong shields and weak armor, instead of weak shields and strong armor like the gallente. We also know that every Caldari suit only has a rudimentary armor plating to protect the most vital areas, which is the chest shoulders, underarms, hands, crotch, back, chins, legs and the calfs. Another fact is also that the power source for the suit is on the back which is in the case of the assault suit a e5000 flatcoil fusioncore which results in the very strong shielding which they are known for. And then do we also know that they use magnetic servos to move these suits. And this brings me to my theory which can be corrected by anyone because we want to get answers here, is that the heavy has to be so bulky to protect the servos from being damaged in the most sensitive spots, which are there where the armor plates are located. The plates are only placed upon the suit which itself is very thin. If you look between the plates can you see a material which reminds one of cloth, it could be something like an extremly thin layer of a metal alloy which are, next to the thick caldari steel plates, the only protection for the servos. And the "Backpack" is of course the most protected part of the suit because in there is most likely an even stronger power source than the e5000 which could result in a rather big explosion if hit or it could just shutdown the suit because this is the main power source of it and try to use servos without energy. This and the knowledge that the suits have a far stronger exoskeleton than middle- or light frames which means that they can carry far heavier loads of equipment, which makes it logical to place very thick and "bulky" armor plates on these sensitive areas to ensure that the movement won't be easily incapacipated by a shot without armor piercing ammunition after the shield has been powered down. That and I think the bulky design of the plates could reduce the damage done by projectiles by speading the impact force via the various corners of the plates. Which results that a plate doesn't get that much damaged because the shooter has to be very precise to hit the same corner again to pierce it. As I said you guys can correct me because I like to do some science stuff.
While I agree that extra protection may be lent to the servo motors (which would only be found at joints such as hips, knees, shoulders, etc. Possibly one at the spine, but this would be protected by the backpack), this doesn't explain why standard plates are used for areas like the chest and thighs, which would enhance mobility by a significant factor.
Additionally, they could either reverse-engineer some Gallente armour tech, as they have done lots of research on strong lightweight plates, or just borrow some from the Amarr, who also have highly developed armour research (and the father of the original heavy frames); as this would allow much thinner, less bulky plates that offer compatible performance.

The Boeng 714 is about the same size as a Rifter (APROX 70 m long, 60 m wide, 20 m tall; or 229 ft long, 196 ft wide, 60 ft tall).
Assuming that the drones are 1/8 of the size, that puts them at about 8.5 m x 7.5 m x 2.5 m. (27 ft x 24 ft x 8 ft)
For scale, the average hue-man is 1.8 m tall.
This guy (the tallest person EVER) reached 2.72 m (8 ft, 11.1 in)
They have a nice height, but...
Those are some pretty wide hallways... unless the width is because the tentacles are all facing horizontally, which would bring the length down to 5m, and the width down to 4m (still a bit cramped though, a good hotel hallway can be between 2.5 and 3.5m in width).

I think that he was using Depleted Uranium rounds (which are radioactive).
As for the using radiation as a marker, I'm not sure. There's lots of radiation-emitting cosmic anomalies in W-space, which may affect the viability of such a technique. Additionally, there may be radioactive material on the vessel itself.
We all have personal computers, we could use those as a map (it would tell us where we ourselves have been, and also give data gathered from other people and drones if said data can be received).
Also, we could just shoot a wall 3 times, making a triangle pointing in some direction.

And the personal computer won't work because of the signal. But the radioactive material could force us to use another idea of finding our way that is true.
Still do we just need something that is above the sorrounding radiation, something that is strong enough to give the counter a spike. Like radioactive tracers that they use in modern medicine but in bigger quantities.
And the 3 shoots are to obvious and could also happen during a shoot out which would make everything more confusing.
I meant using the personal computers to make an "offline" map. Which can be done.

I was going with the assumption that our suits are a personal computer, with the integrated HUD, Neocom and all that jazz.
Yeah, basically.
I was under the assumption that we could download the map of what we have onto our suit computer; and we could add to it automatically as we explore (like any free roam RPG, like Oblivion or Skyrim).
Additionally, the command ship has very powerful transmitters, so they could send a strong signal to us with some extra telemetry and stuff.
Since the command ship also presumably has some danmm good scanners, we should be able to track each other

Amazingly, we have had sun...
To fully grasp why this is such an astronomically big deal, know that I am in Scotland.
It is a well known fact that in Scotland; the sun only appears once, for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes, every 6 years...
And yet, for the last 4 days, there has not only been sun, but nay a cloud in the sky. ( ^ v ^ )

You have to supply your own masks...
Emergency exits for senior personnel only.
No escape pods are required or will be provided, and you are an excellent test subject...

It's quite ironic when you think about it...
We came here to be immortal...
But one day, soonGäó, one of three things will happen:
1.) During on ordinary day's job, we don't wake up.
2.) We'll be marched down a biomass line, our claws and wings clipped; the last thing we see the operator, in his misty, glass enclosed booth.
3.) Somehow, we wont be killed by this.
Remind me where the hell Arkombine are.
