One skirmish, while I was still a very green squad leader, I was trying to figure out the squad orders commands. I got a bit frustrated with the R2 + R3 method so I used the map. After placing my squad order I came back to first-person mode to see a Gallente scout patiently waiting for me, shotgun in hand.
We looked into each others eyes. Then something like this happened, except with a shotgun.
He imposes order on the chaos of organic evolution...

Actually, most embarrassing death happened to me tonight on Ashland skirm.
I was FG on the covered balcony of B and an ADS was harassing us. I hit it once with the Forge and it flew in and parked on me.
It was glorious. I was laughing to hard to see who did it.
Because beer, that's why.

Too much armour losing your speed which is crucial to a shield based suit, damage mods are going to be irrelevant in 1.8 so try this.
3x complex shield ext
1 complex shield energizer
1 complex regulator
2 complex ferro plates
You will have much faster shield regen with the energizer and the regulator gets you into that regen rate faster.
You can swap the ferro plates for reactive plates but the fitting costs are tighter, with all your core skills maxed and fitting optimization maxed, it's doable. Reactive plates have less HP but repair themselves.
Third low slot you can run a cardiac reg or a kin kat.
Dual tanking's OK but makes that suit slow as shittt.

Oh and trying to slide the same as on warframe lol, combine those two together and you get a whole load of complete fail lol.

I placed a remote on a door today and forgot about it. I cleaned an objective and jumped to the door clicking remotes to clean up and get more at supply depot.

I tend to activate my dampeners at the last second.
There tends to be weird lag when people join matches at the beginning of the game.

On a few occasions, I have frantically spawned in to an objective because another one is being hacked, forgetting that I also put an RE on the one I spawned into.
Of course, these are the times the put me right next to the console.
I realize my error after I blow myself up.

Running to catch a scout or medium suit player behind a building or obstacle and instantly running into a Proximity Explosive trap. That's the most embarrassing type of kills to me.

I typically set my uplinks over an RE... spawned on MY uplink as someone was destroying it... killed us both...
*EDIT*
I was spawning my usual 45k ISK suit... no spawn invincibility for self-damage

Had my forge gun on a spire. Got booped by an ADS. Getting booped is always embarrassing, especially while holding a weapon that eats a dropship.
When I'm in my Incubus though booping people on rooftops is the funnest. I feel like a sky orca eating dirt seals.
We can pickle that.

The suit I was in ran out of ammo and grenades so I decided to try to make it to a supply depot. As I get to it I see a scout hacking it with very little health left. Snuck up to melee him but he managed to get the hack off with no shields and 5 HP left after 2 successful melee's. He switched to a heavy suit and HMGed me.
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.
When will they learn!

Called in a Dropship.
Attempted to take off.
Somehow (still not sure how) ended up with my Dropship upside down and wedged between a truck and a building.
Jumped out, and the Dropship slid sideways and fell, landing on my head and crushing me.
Moral of the story: Don't trust me piloting a Dropship. |

I was pew pew-ing with my ScR, when I see a group of enemies, I cook a flux, throw it, it bounces off a pipe, comes back to me, I panic shoot at the enemy, flux explodes, shields are gone and the rifle overheats, killing me.
I am part shovel, part man, full scout, and a little bit special.

Jump off of a tower Uplink into what I think is a group of blooberries, turns out to be a squad of reds.
I had the drop on them with their backs turned, throw a couple Fluxes, switch to my main weapon open fire.
Only, those were AV grenades and my main weapon was an AFG.
I just stopped and took it like a man.

I was setting a proxy mine trap on a skirmish when someone decided to shoot me. They were too far away to deal any meaningful damage to me but a stray shot hit a proxy mine which blew up both me and the blue berry who had the misfortune of walking by. |
