I'd either have to jump corp or care far too much about this game yo make it work for swamp and the game certainly isn't worth that much effort.
When I can jump or climb over a fking ledge, maybe then lol.

I love PC. Not for its mechanics or for the isk you gain, but for the competition.
PC is higher level of skill than pubs. It's fun because you don't stomp the enemy team going 20-0 (unless you're kalante)
It's fun because the enemy you're against actually kill you often. Actually try to win.
And it's fun to come out with the W in these matches.

Pubs is the Little League. PC is the Major League. There is really no comparison between the two.
I enjoy both, but prefer PC because of the increased skill level of the opposition, the increased teamwork across squads, and everyone "bringing it". |

I'm not saying planetside 2 will kill dust, nothing will but when that hits the ps4, will anyone care to play a time consuming buggy pos 16v16 match that means even less than winning in ps2?
When that comes, boom. You can experience everything dust wants to be in your own time. Dust will eventually get there and by then, then what?

I'd like to, if only to see how big a scrub I really am against elite competition. I get an occasional taste in FW but it's not quite the same.
But, 1.8 isn't going to change one of the bigger barriers to me personally, which is real life. Can't play on a schedule. Could have gotten in on some action this morning but had to go to work.

No that taste is what its like every game, highly organised BUT its still just a skirmish. You are missing nothing unique or special at all, don't worry about it.

Well, yeah, I understand that it's still the same game mode. It's the sustained high level of organized play that I only get the occasional taste of. Too many of the battles are one sided.

Never done PC, but I'd be interested to try since it seems to be the contracts most preferred by many of the forum regulars/vets.
Don't get me wrong--I'm a public contract guy FTW; I'd just like to play with my favorite community members sometimes.
I was in a public match with Appia Vibbia the other day, it was awesome! Great to snipe/get counter sniped by someone I recognize from the forums, and one whose opinions I respect, no less!
My other dropsuit is a Python.

Getting to the point where I'm considering joining a corp and trying it... Going to go proto min logi when 1.8 comes out.
Problem for me will be the hours. I can only regularly game from 10:00pm to 1:00am on weekends.

see the problem with PC districts on crazy timers you will be fighting at 4 in the morning or sometimes all night long with back to back matchs.
