What makes you think you deserve it? Why didn't you save some? Whats wrong with the 1-3 million you just got? How the hogwash did you spend ALL of your weapon SP in stuff you don't want now? |

Lol I'm asking you for your opinion on why it's unreasonable to get all infantry SP back.

Example: I go to school for Engineering for 4 years, but then decide I don't want to be an engineer . Now I want to be a broadcaster. Should the school refund all my money for education in engineering, and if so, how do I delete all the knowledge from my brain?
Yeah, its not fair that they waited 8 years to develop meta deta analysis, crowd sourcing, crypto-currencies, and algorythm based search engine optimization packages for website design!! They should fire anyone working in those fields now, let anyone go back to school who wants to study for those so EVERYONE can have a shot at those lucrative jobs!! |

To them, if everyone gets a refund, then everyone can optimize suddenly the game is more challenging. But without a refund? They have the bigger savings and the best chance to optimize any FOTM fittings. This allows them to keep their dominance. When you think of it....weapon upgrades are slashed 50%, Grenadier slashed 33%, Heavy Fittings altered because of the new suit lineups.....who would oppose adjusting this to account for the changes? Who would have the motive to force players with limited SP to keep bad fittings? Answer : Selfish vets. @OP, it's your own fault that you skill into the wrong crap! You do realise that the game is still in beta, people like you are treating it as a full game, it isn't... Their will be new changes coming to Dust with each patch & 1.8 change the whole Infantry & their fore needs a full infantry respec, because at the moment i can't try out both new weapons & suits with a dropsuit respec... It will remain a game in beta for as long as the albatross vets hang around its neck.
Everyone should always invest the first chunk of SP they get into core upgrades, a weapon or two, and then probably a medium suit. If you've spent the majority of your SP on weapons or dropsuits, you did it wrong. This isn't about vets. After about 5-6 million SP, you can be about 75-80% as effective as 'vets' in a lot of situations. |
