Well, now it seems all my time playing Sidearm Scout will have been for something. |

That WOULD be helpful if it didn't immediately overheat your weapon.
Almost kill a MLT suit in one shot, then stand there and watch as you get gunned down because you can't shoot back... Sounds great. |

It's part of risk vs reward Destroy shield and switch weapons. It's all part of learning
Well, I suppose you could hit someone with a charge shot, hide, then come back out when the overheat cooldown is over.
Seems like an awful lot of hassle for the same result that any other gun could do by itself in half the time. That and if you wanted to finish someone with a charge shot, you might as well have just kept shooting with your primary.
I'm still going to try out the Ion Pistol, it's just that I have next to no hope of it being more useful in any situation than any other gun. |

I tried the other sidearms, and found that all of them are terrible now, and so I haven't been using any, even though I have a prototype Amarr Logistics suit, and a sidearm has been the point of one. And now there is a sidearm event. That feels terrible. It's like putting salt into a wound, and then taking an ice pick, and digging around in the wound, and scratching bone, and tearing tendons. Anyway this event has made me more unhappy.
ASMG is still awesome.
AScP is still awesome for assassination. Don't expect to go toe to toe with it anymore, though. |
