Yes you do if you go with commando suit + sidearms. Hit the cap twice as fast that way.  |

750 kills with sidearms in any suit except commando. With commando suit + sidearm you can hit the cap in 375 kills and if you can't get 375 kills in 2 weeks, you should play more DUST! |

Not for this event, but there will be more events coming later that will allow you to take advantage of the boosters. |

Thanks for the clarification. If a kill is made with a melee attack, the logs will only show the dropsuit used and not the weapon. So, if you made a melee kill (with a sidearm) in a commando suit that would count for the commando contingency event, but not the sidearm showdown event.
We will update the event info with this and ask the dev team to track melee kills by weapon type in the future. |
