How about something that has the range and a bit more than current dps of the rail rifle, rof of the rail rifle, and a magazine size half'ish of an HMG, but takes a solid second or so to spool up, slows the move speed like a forge. Use it to melt LAV's from afar, dropships in close, and infantry that it can catch in the open. It would be good for the maps with lots of wide open spaces like manus peak. Stay close to an installation and catch those trying to run/drive in through the open, but get's dead quick if someone catches them while spooling up or reloading.
Make it Amarr, pulse laser or something like that.
Something, anything more than what we have right now. |

i think the ammar need a spartan laser and the caldari get what you mentioned

Sounds kinda like my Aether Hive idea. I could see something like that being used as an alternative to the HMG. I'd probably use it for the sake of running all Caldari gear.

how about the HMG gets all of its range values buffed to match the equivalent combat rifle and just has accurate while hip firing. without the need to kneel down after all the HMG dosn't benefit from the aim down sight button. they could then do the same with the other races weapons.
all the heavy anti-infantry weapons should be hip fired spray and pray weapons this would reduce the amount of heavies using light weapons.
I could give you 10 reason why the Dust team cant get the Amarr tank style right but they are all out of care.
