So, checking some values from the old and new SDE, you can find the spreadsheets for comparison in my signature, the scrambler pistol has received about 25-30% reduction to it's ROF.
The DPS on carthum assault pistol dropped from 770 down to 420.
I really love the pistol but this makes me slightly sad, I guess you'll have to land more headshots now and take a little more time aiming.
Anyway, this was just a friendly service as this info was missing from the patch notes.

I just done a mouse click test, hit 6 times a second both times. So that would be a ROF of 360.

No I done it on a online testing page, your original text said that we can't hit 300 RPM even without a modded controller which clearly isn't true :)

This thread has awoken a lot of emotion, I thought it would get maybe 5 replies, heh. Oh well, maybe things won't be so bad, we'll know soon enough.
If they are bad then it might be worth a try using the breach and see if you can adapt to it, otherwise there's always the MAGSEC :P

Funny how CCP wants to lower TTK, but does nothing about the TTK of Tanks while nerfing a skill shot weapon like the ScP.
I'm not sure of that, you might just be surprised with the amount of laser rifles and magsecs after 1.8.

Only against shields, armour is lower.
