I ran the minmatar in chromosone and changed to caldari with the first respec. Since I skilled back int minmatar again.
I am thinking about swapping to gal after the dropsuit respec because I just feel to squishy in the minmatar and I don't like shield tanking with the caldari. I prefer armor tanking and I like scanners. if they are usable with the update. I tdon't care much for chasing a heavy around the whole match but I will still be using a repper and my needle.
I would like to get some other suggestions of you pros and cons of the logi suit and your choice and reason. |

Vitharr Foebane wrote:no matter the question the answer is always Amarr #rollngold I thought about amarr also because I am an alright assault guy. Sometimes I get more kills running my logi suit than than anyone else on my team. And that's while running logi equipment . Not just a gank logi suit. Care to explain why you prefer amarr? |

VonSpliff wrote:My logi fit if I chose today would be the Cal logi. I prefer rep hive over tool anyway. But I don't know the rest of the suits stats so it will really come down to numbers. Slots equip ect. If there is a link to those stats please help me out.
The announcements and events section at the top of the page has a thread with a link that contains charts for the dropsuits and bonuses. |

Mac Dac wrote:all of them except gallogi Why not gallogi? Looking at the chart it is the only one with built in armor rep for logistics now. Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong. Maybe I'm wrong but I thout the gallogi would be kinda beefy for logi but maybe that won't be as much of an issue with the new build coming. |

RydogV wrote:I have run Minmatar based Triage fits since closed beta. But I am going to move off to Gallente Logi with scanners, injector and remotes/prox mines as my main gear. Fits my play style better and meets the needs of my team better. We have enough Minnie Medics now.
This is kinda the same way I feel. The raise rep repeat is starting to get old for me. I will still play that roll sometimes but I would like to try some other tactics for a spell. |

COVERT SUBTERFUGE wrote:Keeping my Gal logi for the scans. #ewar4lyfe How do you fair on the battlefield with the gal suit? Do you feel to slow or survivability ok? Do you feel at a disadvantage in some areas? Just asking because I don't know a lot of gallogi users. Most of the guys in my corp run the caldari and minmatar variants like I do. |

Another question. Does the amarr logi fit the bill for an assualt logi roll? I notice it has a high base hp compared to the other logi suits. I plan on investing more into some av so this would help save some skill points because of the amarr side arm. I have run av with my logi suit but I quickly changed to an assault suit because of the times getting caught with only a swarm launcher against a redberry. The end result was me jumping around like a mad man only to get shot in the back while trying to run 45 seconds later. Very humiliating. Any thoughts about the amarr suit and the gal will be appreciated |

John Demonsbane wrote:No change. Sticking with the Amarr, but will skill into Caldari too. Amarr logi is a solid suit, but at present it can be hard to fit properly. Hopefully it will be a little easier with the new equip bonuses.
As for AV, I'd advise against it. I tried using it that way, but I found that I could fit the basic Amarr medium frame better for AV. The logi suit is too slow and is always hurting for PG. (Proto may be a different story but I never use my proto suits so I couldn't tell you) Thanks for the insight to av. |

I used the extra skill points from this morning to spec into gal and amarr. Both are slower than I am used to but amarr feels almost like a heavy to me. I do feel comfortable in the suit though. I really liked the pg cpu bonus on the gal suit. It allowed me to run good equipment in all four slots and have some room for some good high and low modules.
This makes me think us logis of all races will love the new logi bonus. For me its been a sacrifice of survivability or better equipment. With this problem gone now I feel I will like the logi roll a lot better. If the update was not bringing this change I would go gal for sure and regret not trying it out sooner.
Well I'm gonna be taking the time the next couple of days trying out both factions before the respec. I am thankful for the respec it has giving me the opportunity to do this without penalty of a loss of wasted skill points |

Michael Arck wrote:Love my CalLogi. Oh, you need some ammo, here you go brosef. Hey there bud, you're looking down, let me give you some reps. Oh wait, you guys like going through choke points, how about I lay this uplink right here. I know you will move in the direction suggested than me telling you on the mic lets change it up.
oh no! I gotta reload! Damn no secondary slot. Oh well, **** it, rush him, hope he doesn't know how to handle it and aim, and melee.
This was kinda the story of my life for awhile especially the no secondary part.I eventually learned to reload after almost every engagement. It even messes me up sometimes when I run my heavy suit.
Kill a guy instantly reload. Oh wait no quit reloading I didn't mean to do that. A guy in a militia suit turns the corner and mows me down with the a militia ar point blank. Fail |
