Mediocre dropsuits and weapons are seldom subjected to nerfs or buffs. I want to use something that is neither over nor underpowered: something that will remain constant throughout DUST's lifespan.
Could anyone suggest me a decent dropsuit, sidearm, and main weapon that fit these qualifications? |

Takes a lot of SP and isn't really that much more effective than, say, Cal Assault with boundless, or anything with a Kaal.
Suffers terrifically from lag.

std basic heavy 1400hp with avg dropsuit core skills amarr or gallente
HMG and Magsec smg std flux grenades
Since no equipment or need for profile dampening/suit scanning skills relatively low sp investment
Blood flows. Death comes. War rages.
Maths is OP. It is all those numbers that kills you.

starter fit or militia
its what I run most of the time since it presents a challenge but its isk friendly

I've been running a Gallente MLT medium for the last month, though. I alternate between my Assault variation that's equipped with enhanced plates and rep with an AR or my pseudo-Scout fit that's equipped with profile damps, a KinCat, SG, and scanner. They perform well with their respective weapons, but they're not fits I'd plan on using permanently.
What about those times I decide I need to run Proto against a Proto stomping squad? I'd rather die in a mediocre Proto fit as opposed to a mediocre MLT fit. |
