I am not skilled into these yet. I figured since they added that shield recharge delay penalty on extenders I'd be screwing myself if I bothered doing anything but extenders.
Everyone says shields are bullshit in Dust but are they really? Who here is skilled into regulators and rechargers and what is your story about it.
You would think it'd be pretty OP if you took someone's shields out, they find cover for a split second and are already back shooting you with fully charged shields.

The point of this thread though is not only to discuss the numbers, but ask how people feel when they are using these modules.
I also should've asked about armor reps in the OP because I'm not skilled into those either.
Wow I didn't know the shield regulators were so useful. This is why spreading rumors and **** is counterproductive. People in my corp were like "yeah those thing suck"

rechargers arent back, but it depends on the suit you are using. now come 1.8 if you put a recharger on a assault suit, you could almost just run a scout. ull be a bit less on hp, but ull have the naturally better recharge rate/delay, along w/ smaller profile, move faster and have 2nd equip slot as well, along w/ more pg and cpu.
so yeah, all depends on your suit and playstyle really
