Watching them crash into the ground is fun. Other than that I am not sure.

if it feels at all like a challenge then its easyer to get it nerfed.
You're going to have to stop now because you are making too much sense!

but a single assault dropship will cause the enamy team to bring out multiple tanks, 1-3 forge guns and 2-5 swarms in responce?
if you guys did that against the tank spam they wouldnt be able to walk all over you...
and dont give me the "vulnerable to infantry" excuse because aparently your not vulnerable enough to stop you from dedicating half a team to kill off a single dropship. Seriously, it's ********. I have myself seen a team just bend over for an entire squad of tanks, but all pull Forge Guns and Swarms for a single Incubus. im convinced that people just do NOT want to do anything thats marginally difficult... although i am in favor of a hardner nerf (as in you can only have one hardener)
Maybe limit it to two because one wouldn't reward a good pilot whom knows what they are doing.

Countering dropships approaches an area that may be called "fun." Compared to countering HAVs, there is the equivalent of zero frustration to be had.
This is a game. I don't play to be frustrated. If I wanted frustration, I'd pay attention to politics or watch the news.
Wrong, the harder it is to do then then better it is when you do it. If killing HAVs were easy I wouldn't have skilled into AV. If it easy it would be boring.

Luna Angelo wrote:Ghosts Chance wrote:Nosid Katona wrote:Well personally I fear ADS more then Tanks for the simple reson that I've seen what a certain Onslaught ADS pilot can do.
As for why people pull out more AV for ADS then Tanks is because if we kill an ADS there is a 90% chance the pilot won't bring it out again; MLT Tanks however can be killed and pulled out almost endlessly and all the time your spending as AV to hold off 1-2 Tanks their 15 other players are killing, hacking, and winning the match. so the fun is in denying someone their favorite playstyle... you derive fun from denying someone else fun? Ghost, you and I are buddies, are we not? So I can say this: Denying someone else their favorite playstyle, in other words, what they're good at, is the whole point of tactics. As a dropship pilot, you know this, as you are forcing as many people to go AV as possible. Most would rather shoot infantry all day (I know I would) and yo deny them that luxury.
The truth will out.
