I've done good so far. It's been 10 days since I made the descision to quit, and i've only had 4 cigarettes, down from at least a pack a day. I was wondering if there were any successfull quitters on these forums that could offer some tips/advice.
My worst cravings are after a few bad matches on Dust, lol

Me- God f*cking dammit!!! Thats f*cking bull sh*t!!! Did you see that sh*t???!!! RestlessSpirits- Yea, we saw it, its all good Dunk, just chill out. Me- Oh my god that f*cking pisses me the f*ck off. I need a f*cking cigarette!!!! RestlessSpirits- No, Dunk, you don't need a cigarette. Me- Yea, I f*cking do!! RestlessSpirits- No you don't. Me- AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Anyway, some craving and frustration control tips would be welcome. Gum doesn't come even close to working, and my once loved cups of coffee just aren't the same anymore. Respect bro. Last time I quit I started to roll my own using pipe tobacco for a while first. Pipe tobacco is a lot lighter on nicotine and additives than most cigarettes, plus it's a lot cheaper to roll pipe tobacco than it is to buy cigarettes. And pipe tobacco is cheaper than cigarette tobacco.
Rolling your own makes you have to work for each cigarette, therefore making you have to make a conscious and physical effort to smoke. It helps you make the decision not to smoke by making you spend 45-120 seconds actually making one before you can light up. (if you've never rolled a cigarette with a hand roller before, it'll take you 4-5 minutes with the instructions that come with it to figure it out)
A 6 oz. bag of "OHM" (decent low price pipe tobacco) makes about a carton to a carton and a half worth and cost's $7.25 or you can get a small bag that makes about a pack's worth for $1.25ish 100 "ROLLIT" cigarette papers is $1.19 200 "TOP" cigarette filters are A hand roller costs about $2-$4 depending on brand. My Zippo one cost me 3.49, my Top one was $2.19 but they are made out of different materials and have different levels of durability. A zippo one tends to last a lot longer.
I started smoking again, but I stuck with rolling my own since it at least keeps me down to about 3 packs a week.
