I'm probably going PRO Gallente scout in 1.8 as my secondary suit (primary will still be Amarr assault with the LR). Scouting is a nice change of tempo. I wanted to go Amarr scout, but let's not go there in this thread.

A plasma rifle becomes way more challenging when you only use it's variants for the most time. Tactical AR Gallente Scout is fun mode when you rock enough damage. Burst Assault Rifle is the mark of ~~shame~~ fun Breach is actually really easy to use in my opinion it's why I do better with it sometimes even with it's lower DPS so there's another exception to the low dps =/= difficult to use 68 inches above sea level...

I'm probably going PRO Gallente scout in 1.8 as my secondary suit (primary will still be Amarr assault with the LR). Scouting is a nice change of tempo. I wanted to go Amarr scout, but let's not go there in this thread. Just run scouts, even if it's BPO's for a while. You'll learn the way of the scout, that's how I did it. I'm very successful with them. Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives. DUST514514

And I'm a lot better than I was before playing with knives. So I'd say, try each out, and spend a decent amount of time doing each, because your situational awareness will get better as you try different styles. I learnt a lot just running another fit for a decent amount of time.
