In the matches I wasn't derpship piloting, I was running a scout with a combat rifle, nova knife and remotes. Personally, i do better with it than i do with a CR Actually, CR > AR by a long shot. Just that it's still a deadly weapon. I first found his channel from the Knifing 101 video. I watched that, bumped KN to 3, and put them on my ADV gal scout suit (I only have it to 3). I managed to flank and sneak up on a group of 4-6 heavies and assaults on top of a hill. I took a deep breath, pulled out the knives, charged in, hit a bunch in a whirl of knives, didn't kill anything and was promptly executed. That was a great moment, I gained a lot of respect for scouts, and realized how much fun they could be. I was laughing my ass off. Killing with knives is some of the most satisfying combat you can have in this game. Watching Moody's tactics has greatly improved my situational awareness in all suits, and made me a much better player in general. o7 Don't engage heavies with knives unless you have ishukone knives, OR they are alone, then you can engage them with the ZN28's. That's what you have RE's for Yep, I "paid the iron price" for that lesson. Moody makes it look so easy. LOL. Much respect for talented scouts. I'm probably going PRO Gallente scout in 1.8 as my secondary suit (primary will still be Amarr assault with the LR). Scouting is a nice change of tempo. I wanted to go Amarr scout, but let's not go there in this thread. Just run scouts, even if it's BPO's for a while. You'll learn the way of the scout, that's how I did it.
