Its just something CCP will need to fix, if not in a hotfix, then in the next (hopefully) build. They really need to do something about the logis in general. They shouldn't be able to do slaying, scouting, or tanking better than the suits designed for exactly that role. Looking for the scout hangout?

I could easily tank it more with still well over 8 m/s as well. Scout still does it better. Also I had an adv cloak and adv RE's on that fit with a proto ACR and adv SMG.

In any case, I am super skeptical that the cloak is an OP hot drop device--there's a visually obvious and temporally significant lag associated with de/activating it, and unless your timing is immaculate and your opponent is a dunce, you'll probably get noticed pretty quickly in a medium frame since you almost certainly lose the 25% profile bonus as soon as the cloak is deactivated, meaning you'll likely show up on radar while the decloaking VFX play, unless you're stacking a few (3+) damps (I saw some numbers on another thread like this and they weren't great for logi frames). I suppose the cloak might help logi frames traverse the map, but a medium frame with an automatic rifle (what else would you put on a stealth/slayer logi suit without a sidearm?) is already setup to run on the frontline, so I can't really see too much benefit here, except maybe in tankbush matches. It remains to be seen, but I think it makes sense to pick either stealth or tank, and if you want to mix them, it's probably a bad idea to rely on the cloak to any extent. Some combination of damps and plates/extenders makes more sense (ie, a passive strategy vs. an active one), but on the whole, the notion of trying to do stealth work on the frontline is a little misguided (because you sure as sh!t aren't going to be much of a threat to a scout with half a brain). My other dropsuit is a Python.

I would just lose the 2 RE's or Proto nades or/and the Proto focused scanner. It would get under anything but a 3/4 cal scout and a logi gal scanner focused. I There so much to play with at 5 lows whether it be stamina or good sprint speed and it would have better stats in armor rep, shield recharge etc. the point wasn't to make it great, it's to show its possible to fit adv cloak or Proto cloak on a decent logi. It can have multiple roles using dampeners or stacking eHP and the ability to choose many weapon options and equipment options. These options aren't available to scouts who are suppose to use cloaks but have weapon limitations sometimes or any other class who cant afford to equip a cloak. There just so much CPU/PG to play with, if CCP thinks this will end slayer logi's they were wrong. Making scouts appealing will help move slayer logis to scouts (team players will use cal scout which should be annoying). The only way to end them is to require each specialist to used a mandatory slot for their specialty. Much like they mandate certain weapons with certain classes (min scouts, all commandos). Or they can make cloaks only available on a scout because thats the goal isn't it? And if a cloak is an equipment, which it is 100%, logis should be able to use them with their bonus. It's just stupid to have all equipment but not that ones... Seems fair for the rest of us but poor logic to a class already getting ripped off on their equipment from 1.7 to 1.8
