Cause if you don't then I would understand why you haven't sorted the obvious and glaring issue of matchmaking.
Seriously, if you're a solo player, then you're pretty much ****** in trying to find a game where the odds aren't stacked against you, in factional or public. It gets on my nerves SO SO much when I join a game, see a full squad of SVER True Blood, Nyain San, or generally a full squad of people from a single corp, and I predict with almost complete accuracy that the team with the squad is going to win hands down.
The other issue is people using prototype or advanced gear and just curb stomping the other side. Its nice and all to see you're the head of a corp and willing to steal other people's taxes, or you're new-character farming ISK, but can you guys keep your e-peen in your pants for two seconds so you can play a fair game? It sickens me when I spawn and see my entire team is using militia or standard, and when I start fighting I see the other team using proto or advanced.
Third issue with me being thrown into already losing games. Its so freaking annoying when I search for a game, get put into the loading screen, and while in the loading screen I hear "Mission failed - Proto stompers circle jerked over your team's corpse". And if I'm lucking I might even see the last minute or so of a losing game, seeing the tickers start at 5 - 120 and end at 0-119.
How can you not see these things are issues CCP? And don't tell me you're dealing with it, or that its hard to deal with, or that you have better things to deal with. The issue can easily be dealt with in a hotfix patch and wouldn't even need to be downloaded client side.
Can you please; Create a squad free game mode. Where new players or solo players can play without getting swatted like flies by organized squads. Stop players from entering games where the mean average of MCC health and clone count isn't 1 with a tolerance of 20%;((MMC1/MMC2)+(Clone1/Clone2))/2 And in public matches create an algorithm that basically takes into account the player's capital (useable assets, ISK, and to a lesser extent AUR and loyalty points) and pits them against people of the same capital, and in game ISK cannot be transfered but stuff can still be bought. That way proto stompers stay with proto stompers. |

Solo players on the winning and losing side? If I play 100 public games solo, do you want to have a guess how many of those are winning vs losing? Have a wild guess.
I'm willing to give up all my ISK (20mill lol, next to nothing), to say that if we get a random selection of 20 players, and ask those 20 players to play another 20 games solo, so 400 games in total with varied skill levels, I am willing to bet that there will be a losing to winning ration of 15 losers to 1 winning. |

This game is so painfully one sided.
I don't even know why I play with game anymore. No one gives a damn about people not doing well and presume their bumbling idiots who just aren't good, while people exploiting the system, shitting on the the people who aren't doing well, and aren't actually contributing are seen as great people.
Kinda like real life huh. |
